現代語訳
弥五郎の息子も弥五郎と申し、同国津の藤堂大学頭殿の城下に住んでいる。この父子が右の偽札を彫ったのである。偽札の当事者である源右衛門が白状した趣旨、その他の様子については別紙の書付でご覧に入れる。ご審議の上、御大法の通りお仰せ付けいただきたい。そのために使者を以て申し入れる。源右衛門については領分の者であるので、処置について江戸表に伺いを立てる予定である。以上

ただし源左衛門は十一月十九日に福井へ帰着し、隠岐守殿がご承知の旨、ご返答の趣を家老まで伝達した。
一、十一月二十一日、老中より呼び出しがあり、使者として使番の大崎佐太夫（正友）が出向いたところ、来年四月中に参府するようにとの奉書を渡された。
一、十二月三日、寒中につき機嫌伺いのため、使者として井原源助（頼知）を江戸表に派遣し、御肴一種を献上した。源助は今日福井を出立した。
ただし同月十五日に返書を渡された。
一、同日、同様の理由により、書状を以て例の通り国産の（一番）生鱈を江戸表に送った。
一、同月九日、右同様に（二番）生鱈を送った。
ただし両度とも献上の日は詳細不明である。

The son, also named Yagoro, resides in the castle town of Lord Todo Daigaku-no-kami in Tsu of the same province. This father and son carved the aforementioned counterfeit bills. The confession of Genemon, the person involved in the counterfeit bills, and other details are presented for your consideration in the attached document. Please deliberate and issue orders according to the great law. I make this request through a messenger. As Genemon is a person from my domain, I will consult with Edo regarding his punishment. Note: Genzaemon returned to Fukui on November 19th and conveyed to the senior retainers that Lord Oki-no-kami had acknowledged and responded to the matter.
1. On November 21st, there was a summons from the senior councilors (roju), and when messenger and guard officer Osaki Sadayu (Masatomo) appeared, he was given an official letter ordering participation in court attendance (sanpu) during April of the following year.
1. On December 3rd, for winter season greetings, messenger Ihara Gensuke (Yorichika) was dispatched to Edo with an offering of one type of delicacy. Gensuke departed Fukui today.
Note: A reply letter was received on the 15th of the same month.
1. On the same day, for the same reason, local specialty (first grade) fresh cod was sent to Edo by letter as usual.
1. On the 9th of the same month, (second grade) fresh cod was sent for the same reason.
