不忍池（しのはすのいけ）は江府第一（えとたいいち）の
蓮池（れんち）なり夏月（かけつ）に至（いた）れは
荷葉（かえう）累々（るい〳〵）として水上（すいしやう）
に蕃衍（はんえん）し花（はな）は紅白（こうはく）
色（いろ）をましへ芬々（ふん〳〵）人（ひと）を
襲（をそ）ふ蓮（はちす）を愛（あい）する
の軰（ともから）浚晨（しのゝめ）を殊更（ことさら）
の清観（せいくはん）とす
