出候旨ニ相見候ニ付此度之儀も如先例
仲間以下可差出之候右社記ニ諸事
厳 敷（ ｜重）#1ニ可相勤旨ニ候間是又如先規被示

為御心得被得御意候且又召具之儀
初乗中へ被付候間雇等之儀御取計
可有之候尤料物之儀ハ社中ゟ可被
相渡候間会所へ可被申聞候事

一競之乗尻衆今日下鴨参社也雖然
当年之儀鞍馬寺開帳諸人郡集
之中故式々ニ備奉も無之参詣之事
如何とて有沙汰当年ハ流木社ゟ遥拝也
右之書付ハ三年代官記ニ有之書籍奉行

出すとのことが見受けられるので、今度の件も先例のとおり、仲間以下を差し出すべきである。右の社記には諸事厳重に勤めるべき旨が記されているので、これもまた先例のとおりお示し合わせいただき、諸事厳重に勤められるのが良いと存じます。つきましては、ご承知おきください。また、召し連れる件については、初乗中へ付けられているので、雇用などの件はお取り計らいください。もっとも料物の件は社中から渡すことになっているので、会所へ申し聞かせください。

右のとおりで、初乗から雑用とも一人分三百文ずつで雇った。

一、競馬の乗尻衆が今日下鴨へ参社した。しかしながら当年は鞍馬寺開帳で諸人が群集している最中のため、式々の備えも整わず参詣することはいかがなものかということで沙汰があり、当年は流木社から遥拝とした。

It appears that [personnel] should be dispatched, so for this occasion as well, following precedent, companions and subordinates should be sent out. The shrine records state that all matters should be conducted strictly, so in accordance with previous practice, please coordinate among yourselves and conduct all affairs with due strictness. Please be advised of this. Furthermore, regarding the matter of accompanying personnel, since they have been assigned to the initial riders, please make arrangements for their employment. The payment for this matter will be provided by the shrine community, so please notify the meeting place.

As stated above, one person each for miscellaneous duties was hired from the initial riders at 300 mon per person.
Kyōhō 5th year, May 4th
One matter: The horse racing riders visited Shimogamo shrine today. However, since this year coincides with the Kurama Temple exhibition when many people are gathering, there was discussion about whether it would be appropriate to make the pilgrimage without proper ceremonial preparations, so this year they conducted distant worship from Nagareki shrine instead.
