一 四月二十二日、御国目付の高力平八郎殿から申し入れがあり、御留守居の大関新五左衛門（直宥）が出向いたところ、溝口孫左衛門殿が列座して、来る二十五日にお二人とも出発され、道中十一泊で来月六日に御国表に到着予定であることを申し聞かされた。
一 同月二十三日、右の件につき餞別として、御使者・御使番を通じて干菓子一箱、鯛一折ずつをお贈りした。また暇乞いのため御名代として御家老の本多縫殿（成広）を派遣した。
一 同月二十五日、御国目付衆が今日出発するにつき、御留守居の大関新五左衛門（直宥）、大御番の伊東十之丞（祐良）、御医師の加藤養安・森栄庵、御徒目付の田嶋某（画像不鮮明）、御徒三人（堀金太夫・加納伊右衛門・力丸治左衛門）を道中に付き添わせた。

1. On April 22nd, there was a communication from Lord Takaki Heihachirō, the provincial inspector. When the keeper of the Edo residence, Ōseki Shingorōzaemon (Naoyasu), went to meet him, Lord Mizoguchi Magorōzaemon was also present. They were informed that both gentlemen would depart on the 25th, travel for eleven nights, and arrive at the provincial headquarters on the 6th of next month.
1. On the 23rd of the same month, regarding the above matter, as farewell gifts, one box of dried confections and one portion of sea bream each were sent through messengers and attendants. Additionally, for the farewell audience, the chief retainer Honda Nuinodono (Narihiro) was sent as the lord's representative.

On the 25th of the same month, as the provincial inspectors departed today, the following were assigned to accompany them on the journey: keeper of the Edo residence Ōseki Shingorōzaemon (Naoyasu), senior guard Itō Jūnojō (Sukeyoshi), physicians Katō Yōan and Mori Eian, foot soldier inspector Tajima [name unclear due to poor image quality], and three foot soldiers (Hori Kitatayū, Kanō Iemon, and Rikimaru Jizaemon).
