今朝鯖一箱を進上いたしましたところ、披露いたした結果、大変結構な仕合せでございます。
恐れながら謹んで申し上げます。
五月十五日 乗邑（書判）
但し、対馬守殿からの返礼の奉書も同様であるため記載せず。
一、同日、国元の目付が去る六日に福井に到着したため、目付から老中への用状を持参した使番小川治兵衛（敦軌）、大御番堀八郎右衛門（久仲）が江戸に到着し（留守居宮北十郎左衛門同道）、用番松平左近将監（乗邑）殿のもとに参上して右の用状を提出した。

但し十六日、左近将監殿へ留守居が呼び出されて、治兵衛等は都合次第国元へ帰るよう指図があった。

On the same day, since the domain inspector who had arrived in Fukui on the 6th brought an official letter from the inspector to the rōjū (senior councilor), messenger Ogawa Jihei (Atsunori) and ōgoban Hori Hachirō Uemon (Hisanaka) arrived in Edo (accompanied by rusui Miyakita Jūzaemon) and presented themselves to duty officer Matsudaira Sakon Shōgen (Norimura) to submit the official letter.
