1. In the eleventh month of Bunsei 2 (Year of the Rabbit, 1819), he was granted his inherited stipend of one hundred *koku* without any discrepancy, and was assigned to the *Kobushin-gumi* (reserve group) for the purpose of pursuing training in the arts.
