阿部豊後守
間似合鳥之子紙を献上されたとの件、披露いたしましたところ、まことに結構なお心遣いでございます。恐れ入ります。謹んで申し上げます。
閏五月九日 忠秋（花押）
一、六月三日、暑中につき使者を以て例のとおり国産の索麺千把並びに肴一種を献上された。
一、同月二十七日、上使河野権左衛門殿を以て例のとおり御鷹の雲雀三十羽を拝領。右の御礼として登城し、老中・若年寄中へ使者を、留守居を指し出された。
一、七月四日、御生母の御生見玉の御祝儀として使者を以て例のとおり黄金を献上された。
一、同月七日、登城。帰殿後、御寝間において本多内蔵助昌長をはじめ家老・奏者番が御礼を申し上げ、御撮絣を下賜された。
一、同月十日、留守居寒江甚右衛門信安が御城へ出向いたところ（昨九日に老中久世大和守殿より御切紙が来た）、端午の御祝儀御献上につき内書を御渡しいただき、甚右衛門は拝領物等を例のとおり受けた。
一、同月十八日、精進揚げにつき使者を以て例のとおり肴（鯉一匹）を献上された。
一、同月晦日、使者を以て例のとおり国産の初鱈を献上された。
一、八月朔日、御祝儀として登城。例のとおり御太刀・馬代を御献上された。

Regarding the献上 of maai torinoko paper, I have reported this matter, and it is indeed a most thoughtful gesture. With deep respect, I humbly state this.
Intercalary 5th month, 9th day Tadaaki (with seal)
1. On the 3rd day of the 6th month, due to the summer heat, through an envoy he献上 the customary local specialty somen noodles (1,000 bundles) and one type of fish as usual.
1. On the 27th day of the same month, through the official messenger Kono Gonzaemon, he received as usual 30 larks for falconry. As thanks for this, he went to the castle and sent envoys to the senior councilors and junior councilors, and appointed a caretaker.
1. On the 4th day of the 7th month, for the celebration of his birth mother's birth viewing ceremony, he献上 gold through an envoy as usual.
1. On the 7th day of the same month, he went to the castle. After returning to his residence, in his sleeping quarters, Honda Kuranosuke Masanaga and other senior retainers and ceremonial attendants offered their thanks, and he was granted御撮絣 (woven fabric).

On the 10th day of the same month, the caretaker Samue Jinzaemon Nobutsugi went to the castle (yesterday on the 9th, a written order came from Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami), and regarding the献上 for the Boys' Day celebration, he received an inner document, and Jinzaemon received gifts as usual.
