一 正月五日、先だって秀吉公から石田治部少輔三成を通じて
神君（家康）に奥州の一揆征伐のため出馬するよう
仰せ遣わされたことにより、今日武蔵国岩槻まで
御出陣されたところ、
一揆が鎮静したため同十三日に江戸へ御帰城された。山川讃岐守
晴重が奥州へ出陣中の働きについて御書を賜った。

One On January 5th, previously Lord Hideyoshi through Ishida Jibu-shōyū Mitsunari
ordered Lord Ieyasu (Shinku) to march out for the suppression of
the Ōshū rebellion. Accordingly, today he advanced to Iwatsuki in
Musashi Province, but
since the rebellion was quelled, he returned to Edo Castle on the 13th of the same month. Yamakawa Sanuki-no-kami
Harushige received a letter regarding his service during the campaign in Ōshū.
