現代語訳
所の領主に召し出され、仇討ちの始終を家老中を通じて詳しく尋ねられた。通力を得た変化の者を易々と討ち取った条は古今未曾有の仇討ちであるとして、
新知五百石ずつを両人に下され、お抱えになるとの御意に従い、すぐに御屋敷を拝領して両親を引き取り、孝行は他に類を見ないほどで、長く繁昌したということである。めでたい春の物語。

The brothers were summoned before the local lord, who inquired in detail about the entire course of their revenge through his senior retainers. He declared that easily defeating supernatural beings who had acquired mystical powers was an unprecedented act of vengeance in all history.
He granted each of them a new stipend of five hundred koku of rice and took them into his service. In accordance with his wishes, they immediately received a mansion, took in their parents, showed extraordinary filial piety, and prospered for a long time. A joyful tale of spring.
