一、八月七日、右（前述の朝鮮人来着）と同様の理由により、迎えの馬を御用のために舞坂まで差し出すこととなり、東郷三郎右衛門（安貞）・酒井六郎右衛門（元監）が人馬の手配を取りまとめ、本日福井を出発した。
一、八月九日、中務大輔（昌平）様が先月十六日に初めて御鷹による雲雀を拝領なされたことにつき、御礼のため老中へ御使者として、御留守居の宮北十郎左衛門（定由）が差し出された。
一、八月十日、御用番・井上河内守（正岑）殿より、御留守居へ以下の通り切紙（書状）が届いた。
（注：「社ノ上寺ノ字ヲ脱セルナラン」＝「社」の上に「寺」の字が脱落しているものと思われる）

Item: On the 7th day of the 8th month, in connection with the same matter as above (the arrival of the Korean delegation), horses were dispatched to Maisaka for official use. Tōgō Saburōemon (Yasusada) and Sakai Rokurōemon (Motomi) coordinated the arrangement of men and horses, and departed from Fukui on this day.
Item: On the 9th day of the 8th month, as His Lordship the Nakatsukasa-no-taifu (Shōhei) had, for the first time, received a skylark caught by falcon on the 16th of the previous month, the resident keeper (rusuい) Miyakita Jūrozaemon (Sadayoshi) was dispatched as a messenger to the Senior Councillors (Rōjū) to express gratitude.
Item: On the 10th day of the 8th month, the Duty Councillor Inoue Kawachi-no-kami (Masamine) sent the following written note (kirigami) to the domain's Edo resident keeper:

Regarding the vermillion-seal documents (goshuinjō) for the (temple and) shrine landholdings within the domain, please send one person to my private residence after the eighth hour (approx. 2 a.m.) on the evening of the 11th. Respectfully.
