1. In the 12th month of Kyōhō 19 (1734, Year of the Tiger), he was granted his first audience (ome-mie) with the lord as requested by his father.
2. In the 6th month of Kanpō 3 (1743, Year of the Boar), he inherited the family stipend of 600 koku of rice without change, was appointed to the gaiyang group, entered Ikoma Gohei's unit, and served castle guard duty.
3. In the 8th month of the same year, due to physical ailments, he submitted a request to receive medical allowance (kobushin-ryō) for treatment, which was granted.
4. In the 1st month of Enkyō 3 (1746, Year of the Tiger), having mostly recovered from his illness, he requested to continue receiving the medical allowance as before while

resuming both morning and evening castle guard duties, which was granted.
5. In the 10th month of Enkyō 4 (1747, Year of the Rabbit), having completely recovered from his illness, he requested to resume all duties, which was granted.
6. In the 4th month of Kan'en 1 (1748, Year of the Dragon), he went up to Edo for guard duty service and returned in the 10th month of the same year.
7. In the 10th month of Hōreki 1 (1751, Year of the Sheep), he went up to Edo for guard duty service and returned in the 4th month of the following year (1752).
8. In the 9th month of Hōreki 2 (1752, Year of the Monkey), his request to change his name to Sakon'emon was granted.
