長谷部信連主の墓所の図
墓所の地は山岸村の領内、字を「宝善（ほうぜん）」と言い、また「輪町」とも言う。輪島河合町より左手の山の方へ入ること八丁ほどの所にある。

『吾妻鏡』巻二十三に言う——建保六年戊寅（つちのえとら）十月二十七日丙寅、左兵衛尉（さひょうえのじょう）長谷部連法師、能登国大屋庄河原田においてにて卒す、と云々。
考えるに、今の輪島周辺二十四ヶ村を「大屋庄（おおやのしょう）」と言い、山岸・宅田・杉平・横地等十八ヶ村はこれを「川原田郷（かわらだごう）」と言う。建保六年より今の嘉永七年に至るまで、およそ六百三十七年になる。

A map of the grave site of Lord Hasebe Nobitsura.
The location of the grave site lies within the domain of Yamagishi Village, at a place called "Hōzen" (宝善), also known as "Wachō." It is situated approximately eight chō (八丁, roughly 870 meters) into the mountains to the left when departing from Wajima Kawaimachi.

The *Azuma Kagami* (吾妻鏡), Volume 23, states: "On the 27th day of the 10th month of Kenpō 6 (1218), the year of Tsuchinoe-Tora, Sabyōe no Jō Hasebe no Ren Hōshi passed away at Kawarada in Ōya Estate, Noto Province."
Upon reflection: the twenty-four villages in the present area of Wajima are called "Ōya Estate" (大屋庄), while eighteen villages including Yamagishi, Takuda, Sugihira, and Yokochi are collectively known as "Kawarada-gō" (川原田郷). From Kenpō 6 to the present year of Kaei 7, approximately 637 years have passed.
