現代語訳
【大津ぶれぶし】
〽 たいそうおしつぶれ、火事も出来（でき）て、
たいがい揺り崩し、
仮宅・お山はご無事の花、
わらじは高くなり、
土蔵の鉢巻きは皆ふるい上がって仰天し、
土をば高く積み上げて、
あら木の板も直売りして金儲け、
職人の手間賃をば抑えて取り、
役者の困窮、旅（興行）を売りに出て、
金持ちは施しをして、後々（あとあと）よかろう。
