その時、呉服台を御上段から五畳目・六畳目へと運び出し（中奥御小姓役が行う）、再び御出座されて御盃を頂戴し、また御復座された。二献目の数々の御土器・御銚子が出され、御引渡しと引き替えに御雑煮が出された。中納言様が御出座されて御盃を御頂戴、御加わりがあり、御本席へお持ち帰りになった。明けた三方を御小姓衆が引き下げ、中納言様の御手前にある御土器に御酌を取り、手に載せて宰相様、綱昌様へと順に盛って御頂戴が相済んだ。御銚子を入れて三献目の御銚子が出され、御雑煮と引き替えに兎の御吸物が出された。宰相様が御出座されて御頂戴、御本席へお持ち帰りになった。宰相様の御手前にある御土器に御酌を取り、手に載せて綱昌様に盛り、御頂戴が相済んだ。御銚子を入れて御吸物を引き下げ、御一同で御礼を申し上げて御退去された。
一、同日、御屋形での年始御規式があり、御座之間において御家老飯田主米安成が太刀目録を持参して御礼を申し上げ着座した。その内に御国の御家老からの献上の太刀目録の披露があり、三献の御祝いが相済んだ。表御書院において諸士の御礼をお受けになり、御流の御盃を下された。
一、正月三日、小書院において諸士の子供たちの年始の御礼をお受けになった。
一、同月、仙洞・女院両御所炎上（旧臘二十七日）につき、御機嫌伺いのため御使者として御使番出淵平兵衛盛許を以て、仙洞御所へ奉書紙十束を献上した。

At that time, the gofuku-dai (clothing stand) was carried out from the upper level to the fifth and sixth tatami areas (by the nakaoku page attendants). [The lord] again took his seat and received the sake cup, then returned to his seat. For the second offering, various earthenware cups and sake bottles were brought out, and ozoni (New Year soup) was served in exchange for the ceremonial items. The Chunagon (Middle Counselor) took his seat, received the sake cup with additional servings, and returned to his main seat. The empty three-tiered stands were removed by the page attendants. The earthenware cup at the Chunagon's place was filled with sake, placed on a tray, and served in order to the Saisho (Minister of the Left) and Tsunamasa-sama, who received it. After pouring from the sake bottle, the third offering's sake bottle was brought out, and rabbit soup was served in place of the ozoni. The Saisho took his seat, received the cup, and returned to his main seat. Sake was poured from the earthenware cup at the Saisho's place, placed on a tray, and served to Tsunamasa-sama, who received it. After pouring from the sake bottle and removing the soup, all together offered their respects and withdrew.

In the za-no-ma (audience chamber), Senior Retainer Iida Shume Yasunari brought a sword and catalog, offered his respects, and took his seat. During this time, a sword and catalog献上 from the domain's senior retainers was announced, and the three-献 celebration was completed. In the omote-goshoin (front study), he received New Year greetings from the retainers and bestowed cups of his house's style.
