一 同日於御家老稲葉采女《割書：治｜房》宅先達而被 仰出候御借米之儀ニ付
左之通書付を以諸月番江采女申渡之
最前被 仰渡通当暮ゟ免四歩之積り御借り被為成候
御勝手不被為成候ヘハ給知高ゟ平均四歩之積り御借り
被成候而ハ不足ニ候ヘ共御家中も勝手不如意之由
御聞及被成候ニ付先右之通被 仰出候当七月ゟ面々
給地致収納四歩之積り可指上候懸り免段々之

一、二月二十三日 お城へお呼び出しにつき、御留守居が参上したところ、柳の間において歳暮の御祝儀御献上につきましての御内書を御老中よりお渡しがあり、その節、御留守居へ時服拝領を仰せ付けられた。
「歳暮の祝儀として小袖五つ到来、喜んで思し召される。詳細は酒井雅楽頭が述べることとする。」

一、三月十二日
女院御所がご病気のところ、日を追って回復されたことにつき、お喜び申し上げるとともに御機嫌をお伺いするため、御使者として御書院番士を通じて御箱肴一種を献上された。
一、同日 御家老稲葉采女（治房）宅において、先だって仰せ出された御借米の件につき、左記の通り書付を以て諸月番へ采女が申し渡した。
「最前に仰せ渡された通り、当暮より免四歩の積もりで御借りなされることとなったが、御勝手がうまくいかないので、給知高より平均四歩の積もりで御借りされては不足であるが、御家中も勝手が不如意である由をお聞き及びになったため、先ず右の通り仰せ出される。当七月より面々給地の収納を行い、四歩の積もりで差し上げることとする。掛かり免は段々の」

1. February 23rd - When summoned to the castle, the deputy went to attend, and in the Yanagi-no-ma (Willow Room), an official letter regarding the New Year's tribute offering was handed down by the Council of Elders. On that occasion, the deputy was granted ceremonial clothing.
"Five kosode robes have arrived as New Year's tribute, which are received with pleasure. Details will be explained by Sakai Utanokami."

As the Empress Dowager's Palace had been suffering from illness but was recovering day by day, an envoy was sent through a palace guard to present one type of ceremonial delicacies to express congratulations and inquire about her well-being.
1. Same day - At the residence of Chief Retainer Inaba Uneme (Harufusa), regarding the rice loan matter that had been previously announced, the following written directive was conveyed to the monthly duty officers through Uneme:
"As previously ordered, loans are to be made at a rate of four bu per tan starting from this winter. However, since finances are not going well, borrowing at an average rate of four bu per tan of stipend land would be insufficient. But since it has been reported that the retainers are also experiencing financial difficulties, this arrangement is announced for now. From this July onward, each person shall collect from their stipend lands and contribute at a rate of four bu per tan. The assessment rates are to be gradually..."
