現代語訳
御単物と御袷物を献上した。御城の柳の間において、御老中久世大和守広之殿が御受取になった。
一、五月、同様の理由で本多孫太郎長員をはじめ御家老から御帷子と御単物を献上した。
ただし、御家来からの端午の御祝儀献上の件は、以後定例となったため記載しない。
一、同月十四日、江戸を御発駕し、日光山へ御参詣。御供は杉形の御槍二十本、御槍奉行奈良左近右衛門高良、御先道具、御弓立二組、弩瓢二穂、大鳥毛、御槍、投鞘、御槍二本、御傘、御立笠、御床机、御具足櫃笈、御具足革船二荷、御乗掛馬、御鞍置馬、御挟箱、突留、御槍二本、御腰物筒三、御徒、御駕、御持槍、御長刀、御傘、御挟箱、御召替、御馬、御乗懸馬、御茶弁当、歩行御供十四人、馬上御供十人、御跡押として御家老飯田主米安成を召し連れた。

東照宮・大猷院様の御霊前へ御太刀と馬代銀十枚ずつを御献備し、御拝礼があった。

Single-layer and lined garments were presented. At Yanagi-no-ma (Willow Room) in the castle, Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami Hiroyuki received them.
1. In the fifth month, for the same reason, starting with Honda Magotaro Nagazane and other senior retainers, summer robes and single-layer garments were presented.
However, the matter of Boys' Day congratulatory gifts from retainers will not be recorded hereafter as it became customary.
1. On the 14th of the same month, departed from Edo and made a pilgrimage to Mount Nikko. The retinue included twenty Sugigata-style spears, spear magistrate Nara Sakon'emon Takayoshi, advance equipment, two sets of bow stands, two crossbow gourds, large feathers, spears, scabbards, two spears, umbrellas, formal hats, folding stools, armor boxes and cases, two loads of leather boats for armor, riding horses, horses with saddles, document boxes, spear stops, two spears, three sword cases, foot soldiers, palanquins, hand spears, long swords, umbrellas, document boxes, change of clothes, horses, riding horses, tea and lunch boxes, fourteen attendants on foot, ten mounted attendants, and senior retainer Iida Shume Yasunari was brought along as rear guard.
