現代語訳
但馬守（喬知）本多伯耆守（正永）殿、大久保加賀守（忠増）殿、若年寄中がお越しになられた。
御門外まで御留守居が出向き、御白洲へ御家老をはじめとする御役人たちが出席した。
その際、御玄関の薄縁まで御出迎えし、御案内にて御書院へ御通しし、御長袴を着用され、
奏者番をはじめとする御役人中が揃った上で、御能をはじめとして御料理が出され、御盃事が行われた。
終了後、但馬守殿から酒井典膳（知房）、萩野孫右衛門（政封）、仙石権右衛門（高張）、
村上三太夫（正峯）へ御盃が下された。伯耆守殿から稲葉多門（正方）、大谷助六（重照）、西尾
仁左衛門（宗鋪）、堀十兵衛（久律）へ御盃が下された。加賀守殿から高屋善右衛門（長英）、岡部
又次郎（起平）、松平源太夫（正好）、大関新五左衛門（直看）へ御盃が下された。御先手の加賀爪
次郎右衛門（信全）殿による披露があった。
ただし、右の際の御給仕の面々は長袴を着用した。
一、十一月十四日、今度琉球人が来朝した際に東叡山御仏殿へ参詣することになっているため、御献上の銅灯篭を御修復するようにと執当中から明静院まで申し入れがあった。これについて御修復を仰せ付けられた。
一、同月十八日、琉球人が御礼申し上げるため御登城された（御直衣着用）。
ただし、昨十七日に御老中から御切紙が来た。
一、同月二十三日、琉球人へ御暇を仰せ出され登城したため御登城された（御直衣着用）。その後、
右の御歓びのため御用番並びに御側御用人へ御使者を指し出された。
一、同月二十六日、寒中につき御機嫌伺いのため御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿へ

Tajima-no-kami (Takatomo), Honda Hōki-no-kami (Masanaga), and Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami (Tadamasu), along with the wakadoshiyori (junior councilors), visited.
The goryūsui (deputy) went out to the gate, and the karō (chief retainers) and other officials assembled at the goshirasu (white sand courtyard).
On this occasion, they were received at the thin matting of the main entrance, guided to the shoin (reception hall), dressed in long hakama,
and after the ōshaban (masters of ceremonies) and other officials assembled, Noh performances were presented, cuisine was served, and a sake ceremony was held.
Afterwards, Tajima-no-kami bestowed sake cups upon Sakai Tenzen (Tomofusa), Hagino Magoemon (Masafū), Sengoku Gonuemon (Takaharu),
and Murakami Santayū (Masamine). Hōki-no-kami bestowed sake cups upon Inaba Tamon (Masakata), Ōtani Sukeroku (Shigeteru), Nishio
Jin'zaemon (Muneshiku), and Hori Jūbei (Hisaritsu). Kaga-no-kami bestowed sake cups upon Takaya Zen'emon (Nagahide), Okabe
Matajirō (Okitaira), Matsudaira Gentayū (Masayoshi), and Ōseki Shinzaemon (Naotaka). There was an announcement by Kagatsume
Jirōemon (Nobumasa) of the advance guard.
Note: On this occasion, those serving wore long hakama.
1. On the 14th day of the 11th month, since the Ryukyu people who came to court this time were to visit the Buddha hall of Tōeizan, there was a request from the temple administrators to Myōjōin to repair the bronze lanterns to be presented. Accordingly, the repair was ordered.
