大納言様御機嫌為御伺 西丸御老中安藤対馬守《割書：信｜賢》殿江
御使者御留守居大谷一右衛門《割書：次｜安》被指出之
但十一日迄毎日御使者被指出候得者不記之
一 同日右同断ニ付御用番左近将監《割書：乗｜邑》殿江御留守居大谷
一右衛門《割書：次｜安》罷出御祈禱之儀相伺候処御先格も有之候ハゝ書付可

文照院様御麻疹之節之例書添左之通御伺書被指

公方様日光御社参ニ付上野凌雲院江御安全之御祈
現代語訳
大納言様の御機嫌をお伺いするため、西丸の老中安藤対馬守信賢殿へ使者として留守居役の大谷一右衛門次安を派遣した。
ただし、十一日まで毎日使者を派遣していたため、それらについては記載しない。
一、同日、右と同様の理由により、御用番の松平左近将監乗邑殿へ留守居役の大谷一右衛門次安が出向き、祈祷の件について伺ったところ、先例があるならば書付を提出するよう申し聞かされたため、宝永五年子年の文照院様の麻疹の際の例を書き添え、左の通り伺書を提出した。
大納言様の疱瘡の御安全のため山王にて御祈祷を
執行したく存じます。この段お伺い申し上げます。以上

ただし、右の書類を提出したが、後に御附紙をもってその必要はない旨の御指図があった。
一、三月六日、右と同様の理由により御機嫌をお伺いするため、総出仕として西丸へ登城し、御機嫌をお伺いしたところ、老中安藤対馬守乗邑殿より触れがあった。
一、同月九日、御用番松平左近将監乗邑殿より呼び出しがあり、留守居役の宮北十郎左衛門定由が出向いたところ、この度公方様が日光御社参されるにつき、上野凌雲院において御安全の御祈

A messenger, the caretaker Ōtani Ichiuemon Jian, was sent to the Nishimaru rōjū (senior councilor) Andō Tsushima-no-kami Nobuyoshi to inquire about the health of the Dainagon-sama.
Note: Since messengers were sent daily until the 11th, these are not recorded.
1. On the same day, for the same reason as above, the caretaker Ōtani Ichiuemon Jian went to see the duty officer Matsudaira Sakon-no-shōgen Noriyuki to inquire about prayers. When told that if there were precedents, a written document should be submitted, he attached the example from Hōei 5 (1708), year of the rat, when Bunshōin-sama had measles, and submitted the following petition:
For the safe recovery of Dainagon-sama from smallpox, we wish to
conduct prayers at Sannō. We humbly request permission for this. Above.

However, although this document was submitted, later instructions via an attached note indicated that such measures were unnecessary.
1. On March 6th, for the same reason as above, to inquire about his health, all retainers went to Nishimaru castle to pay respects, and when inquiring about his condition, senior councilor Andō Tsushima-no-kami Noriyuki made an announcement.
1. On the 9th of the same month, there was a summons from duty officer Matsudaira Sakon-no-shōgen Noriyuki, and caretaker Miyanishi Jūrōzaemon Sadayoshi went to attend. He was informed that since the Shōgun was making a pilgrimage to Nikkō shrine, prayers for his safety would be conducted at Ryōun-in in Ueno.
