◯只今迄被下置候居屋敷手狭に付添地相願夫々被下置候得共此以後相願候而も
御取揚無之筈に候此段寄々可申達旨被仰出候間可被得其意候以上

◯諸々の狩猟などに出かける際〔の煙草に関する注意〕については以下、当春の通りとする。

右については、当春新たに御触を差し出しましたが、とりわけこの節は坂などへ夜中に往来が多い時節でありますので、右の御触書を差し出しておけば、いよいよ長きにわたって相応であろうとの存念により、御家老中へ申し達してこのようにいたしました。
口達の覚 支配頭の面々へ
◯これまでお下げ置きいただいている居屋敷が手狭につき添地を願い出て、それぞれお下げ置きいただいておりましたが、以後は願い出ても取り上げられないことになります。この段をそれぞれにお申し達しになるようにとのご命令がありましたので、その旨ご承知ください。以上。

追って、支配のある面々は右の趣をお申し聞かせください。以上。
右については、屋敷続きに空地がある場合、これまでは添地願いの上お下げになっておりましたが、以後は右の通りとのことを、助六方よりお申し聞かせがありました。

◯小役人の者に実子がいて、御徒（おかち）へお召し出されて勤めている者が、また親の跡目のつもりで養子を願い出ても、以後は取り上げられない旨のご命令が出ております。この段をそれぞれにお申し達しになるようにとのことでありますので、その旨ご承知ください。以上。

◯近日、御料（幕府直轄領）の御巡見衆がお越しになりますので、当国ご滞留の内に各自の家来等を在辺などへ差し出す際に、途中でお行き合いになった場合は、笠を取り、下座をいたすようにしてください。総じて慮外（無礼）な様子がないよう、末々まで堅くお申し付けください。以上。

堅紙（かたがみ）・月成（つきなり）・奉書（ほうしょ）に認（したた）める。
◯諸国の御巡見衆が近日お越しになる予定であります。これにより、御国中をお通りになる間、火の用心について一層堅くお申し付けください。御城下にご宿泊の内は鉄炮を打ってはなりません。また、召し使いの下々を在々へ差し遣わす場合は、あらかじめ承り合わせの上、御通りの方角へは参らないようにお申し付けください。御城下ご宿泊の内は、下々を町へみだりに出してはなりません。用事があって出す場合は、大声・無作法など諸事において油断せず、もし自然と町中にて御巡見衆の家来衆へ出会った場合は、道を避けて遠慮するようにお申し付けください。御宿の前後は一切通行できない筈として、押組（おしぐみ）の者を附き置かせます。
右の趣を面々はご承知の上、下々へも堅くお申し付けになるようにとのことです。以上。

The above notice was newly issued this past spring; however, since this is particularly a season when there is much nighttime traffic on the slopes and roads, it was deemed appropriate that reissuing the said notice would serve well for a long time to come. This was therefore communicated to the Senior Elders, and the notice has accordingly been reissued.
Oral Notice (Memorandum) To the Unit Supervisors (支配頭)
◯Although those who found their allocated residential plots too small have until now been granted additional land upon application, henceforth no such applications will be accepted. As orders have been given that this be communicated to each party individually, please take note accordingly. Respectfully.

Addendum: Those who have persons under their supervision are requested to convey this matter to them. Respectfully.
The above concerns the fact that, where there were vacant lots adjacent to residential plots, additional land had until now been granted upon application. Henceforth this will no longer be the case — as communicated via Sukuroku's office.
Oral Notice (Memorandum)
◯Regarding minor officials (小役人) who have biological heirs and have been called up to serve as foot soldiers (御徒): even if such persons should apply to adopt an heir intending to succeed their parent's position, such applications will henceforth not be accepted — as per the order issued. As instructions have been given to communicate this to each party, please take note accordingly. Respectfully.

◯As the Inspection Officials (御巡見衆) dispatched by the Shogunal Demesne (御料) will be arriving shortly, during the period of their stay in this domain, when dispatching your servants and retainers to outlying areas, should they happen to encounter the Inspection party along the road, they are to remove their hats (笠) and lower themselves in obeisance (下座). In all respects, strictly instruct even the lowest-ranking members of your households to conduct themselves without any discourtesy whatsoever. Respectfully.

◯The Inspection Officials (御巡見衆) dispatched to the various provinces are expected to arrive shortly. Accordingly, during the period of their passage through this domain, please ensure that fire prevention is observed with the utmost strictness. While they are lodging in the castle town, no firearms are to be discharged. Furthermore, when sending lower-ranking servants to outlying villages, please first make inquiries in advance and instruct them not to travel in the direction of the Inspectors' route. While the Inspectors are lodging in the castle town, lower-ranking servants are not to be sent into town indiscriminately. Should it be necessary to send them out on business, instruct them strictly: no loud voices, no improper conduct, and no negligence in any matter whatsoever. Should they happen to encounter the attendants of the Inspection Officials somewhere in town, they are to step aside and defer to them. The area in front of and behind the Inspectors' lodgings is to be completely closed to passage, with members of the escort unit (押組) posted there.
Please take note of the above and strictly instruct all those below you accordingly. Respectfully.
