一、正月朔日（元日）に御屋形にて年始の御規式が執り行われた。
ただし、御幼年につき略式にて行われた。
一、同日、年始の御祝儀について、御幼年につき御使者として御書院番頭・笹治権右衛門（高庸、素袍着用）をもって、御先代と同様に、公方様へ御太刀一腰・御馬一疋（代わりに黄金十両）を献上された。御城の大広間二之間へ御老中が出座され、同三之間にて御奏者番・本多長門守（忠英）殿へ御太刀の目録を差し上げた。

Kan'en 3rd Year, Kanoe-Uma (1750)
Item: On the first day of the first month (New Year's Day), the New Year's ceremonial observances were held at the residence (o-yashiro). However, due to the Lord's young age, an abbreviated ceremony was conducted.
Item: On the same day, regarding the New Year's congratulatory gifts — as the Lord was of young age — the Head of the Gosho'in Guard (御書院番頭), Sasaji Gonuemon (Takatsune; wearing a suo [formal divided skirt and jacket]), was dispatched as envoy, following the precedent set by the previous lord. He presented to the Kubō-sama (the Shogun) one sword and one horse (substituted with ten ryō of gold). The Senior Councilor (Rōjū) appeared in the second room of the Great Hall (Ōhiroma) of the castle, and in the third room, the sword registry (目録) was presented to the Announcement Officer (Sōja-ban), Lord Honda Nagato-no-kami (Tadahide).
