此書原本は従四位佐竹義脩ノ所藏ニ
𬼀實ニ白井眞澄ノ親シク揮冩ニ出ツ
手澤可愛ナリ其出羽道ト称スル雪月
花ノ三種アリテ共ニ考證ニ足ル今其
花部ヲ散佚ス惜哉其題辞ヲ閲スルニ游
覽記ニ輯録セザル書猶数種アリ他日
搜索シテ始テ其全備ヲ見ルベキ也今
慈謄冩卒業シテ校正ノ暇別ニ目次ヲ
錄シ以テ披閲ニ便ニスト云

【左丁】
この書の原本は従四位佐竹義修の所蔵で、
まさしく白井真澄が親しく筆を執って書き写したものである。
手沢の跡が愛らしい。その出羽道と称する雪・月・
花の三種があって、共に考証に足りる。今その
花部を散失した。惜しいことである。その題辞を見ると、遊
覧記に集録していない書物がなお数種ある。他日
捜索して初めてその全体を見ることができるであろう。今
ここに転写を完了して、校正の暇に別に目次を
記録し、以って閲覧に便利にするという。

The original manuscript of this work is in the collection of
Junior Fourth Rank Satake Yoshinobu, and was indeed
personally written out by Shirai Masumi himself.
The traces of his hand are endearing. There are three types
called "Dewa-dō" - Snow, Moon, and Flowers - all sufficient for scholarly research. Now the
Flower section has been lost and scattered. How regrettable! Looking at the prefaces,
there are still several works not included in the travel records. In the future,
by searching, we should be able to see the complete collection. Now
having completed this transcription, during the leisure of proofreading, a separate table of contents has been
recorded to facilitate reading.
