○母親が出奔し行方不明となった場合、その子が部屋住み（家督相続前の状態）でいる時は、たとえ幼少でその事情を理解していなくても、家督相続することは困難である。また他家へ養子に出すことも困難である旨を延享四年卯年（1747年）に通達したが、今後は母親が出奔した場合でも、その子の家督相続並びに他家への養子縁組は差し支えない。この趣旨を関係各所に伝達すること。十一月

▲○従来、朱墨については朱座から朱と同様に販売してきたが、近年諸方面で粗悪な朱墨を製造販売しているとの報告があり、不届きである。朱墨商売を行う者は従来通り朱座で仕入れて商売を行うこと。今後粗悪な朱墨を製造する者があれば厳重に処罰する。この通り享保十九年寅年（1734年）に触れ出したところ、この趣旨を忘却したのか、諸方面から粗悪な朱墨を仕入れて商売している旨が伝わってきており、不届きである。いよいよ従来通り朱座から販売される朱並びに朱墨を仕入れて商売すること。今後諸方面から仕入れることが発覚した者については、取り調べの上厳重に処罰する。この通り触れ出すこと。卯十二月

○When a mother absconds and her whereabouts become unknown, if her child remains as a "heya-zumi" (heir-in-waiting who has not yet inherited), even if the child is young and does not understand the circumstances, it would be difficult for them to succeed to the family headship. ▲○Previously, vermillion ink has been sold from the vermillion guild (shuza) in the same manner as vermillion. However, in recent years, reports have come that inferior vermillion ink is being manufactured and sold in various quarters, which is improper. Those who conduct vermillion ink business shall purchase from the vermillion guild and conduct business as before. Henceforth, if there are those who manufacture inferior vermillion ink, they shall be strictly punished. This was proclaimed in the nineteenth year of Kyōhō, year of the Tiger (1734). However, perhaps having forgotten this directive, reports have come that inferior vermillion ink is being purchased from various sources for commercial purposes, which is improper. All the more so, vermillion and vermillion ink sold from the vermillion guild shall be purchased for business as before. Henceforth, those found to be purchasing from various other sources shall be strictly punished after investigation. This shall be proclaimed accordingly. Twelfth month of the year of the Rabbit.
