▲この「はる山」は手を加えた造作もなく、何の変哲もない山の景色であるが、この山を眺めるためにこの郡は賑わうという。春山（しゅんざん）の笑うがごとし——木の芽がほころぶのを「山笑う」と言うが、この山は四季ともに笑うがごとく、人に愛される山である。
元日やこの春山の名のほまれ
▲玉づさの岡は、里人の手入れが上手なるゆえに、ここを築き、かしこを整えて、眺めのある景色として名所となった。里人の発明というべきである。

It is like the "laughing spring mountain" — while it is said that a mountain "laughs" when tree buds begin to unfurl, this mountain laughs in all four seasons alike, and is a mountain beloved by people.
