あら嬉し、大安日にゆり直す
御代は千秋、後万歳楽

【本文】
私どもはいささか人に後ろ見はないが、
このごろ調子めかりうなかして（調子に乗って）、鯰の
馬にはお相手になり、それが口惜しくて
動きましたところ、思いよらぬ
怪我人をこしらえ、後先見ずの
科（とが）を悔みて、後万歳楽の
果てまでも素直に
頭を被って動き
ませぬゆえ、
ご容赦、ご容赦。

"May the reign last a thousand autumns, and ten thousand years of joy thereafter"

**Body (spoken by the Kaname-ishi / Keystone):**

We [the Keystone] are not ones to show our backs to others [i.e., we do not shirk our duty],
but lately, having gotten carried away and nodded off,
we let the catfish have its way — and how mortifying that was —
it moved [caused the earthquake], and in doing so
created unexpected casualties.
Regretting this thoughtless fault,
we vow that until the end of ten thousand years of peace,
we shall humbly keep our head down and
never move again.
Therefore, please forgive us!
