[Editor's Notes]
This volume includes a preface and colophon in classical Chinese (kanbun) written by Genkō, dated Kan'ei 4 (1627). Following the kanbun colophon, there is also a colophon in Japanese (wabun) by the author Yoshida Mitsuyoshi. The main text is identical to the three-volume, forty-eight-article edition bearing publication dates of Kan'ei 8 (1631), Kan'ei 11 (1634), and related years.
