料金二百疋到来、これにより今日収金のため龍水一丁、松魚七本これを送るなり。
○恒季卑季祥このごろ婚礼相済みの由につき、祝いのため扇子三本入り一箱、松魚三本これを送るなり。
十六日丙子雪降る。明十七日予赴入これ有りにつき、御祝義のため銀三匁下され、即刻改服御礼申し上げるなり。○社頭当番逞清方へ代勤相頼む。ただし夜食出し番なり。諸事例の如し。○一昨十四日煤払い例の如く了んぬ。
十七日丁丑晴れ。四男知四郎一昨十五日初誕名なり。祝義延引、今日相祝うこと例の如し。婆々初めて相招き、酒飯給するを了んぬ。

二十八日戊子晴れ。当季払高銀合わせて七百三十四匁八分二厘五毛、外に御講払い合わせて三歩二朱なり。

Payment of 200 hiki arrived, therefore today sent one measure of ryūsui and seven bonito fish as collection money.
○Since Tsuneki Hiki Shō recently completed his wedding ceremony, sent one box containing three fans and three bonito fish as congratulations.
16th Day, Hinoe-Ne, Snow fell. Tomorrow the 17th I have an appointment to attend, so was given 3 monme of silver as celebration money, immediately changed clothes and expressed gratitude. ○Requested Teisei to serve as substitute for shrine duty. However, this is night meal service duty. All matters as usual. ○The day before yesterday, the 14th, soot cleaning was completed as usual.
17th Day, Hinoto-Ushi, Clear. Fourth son Tomoshirō was given his first formal name the day before yesterday on the 15th. The celebration was postponed, celebrated today as usual. Invited the grandmother for the first time, provided sake and rice.
20th Day, Kanoe-Tatsu, Clear. Ha, the organizer of the Sakai lecture group, came to Kyoto. The first meeting of the new lecture group was held at Iwaiya in Sanbongi. Chamberlain Sakamoto and I attended, concluded at half past the Hour of the Rat [around 12:30 AM].
24th Day, Kinoe-Saru, Light snow followed by clear weather. Rice cake pounding completed as in previous years.
25th Day, Kinotono-Tori, Snow with occasional clear skies. The lord's family graciously gave remaining voucher silver of 227 monme and 1 bu.
26th Day, Hinoe-Inu, Snow. From Ujisō, as in previous years, blind people prepared ritual dengaku for today's presentation. There had been advance notice that I should participate as a dancer, but due to busy official duties for the lord's family, I did not attend and requested Teisei to serve as substitute.
28th Day, Tsuchinoe-Ne, Clear. This season's total payments: 734 monme, 8 bu, 2 rin, 5 mō of silver, plus separately 3 bu 2 shu for lecture group payments.
