願書旧冬掛リ中巡覧之上今日及沙汰色々相談有之候得共
何分今日ハ胡保不参的顕早出等ニ付先未決尚又當勘定迄ニ
何れ共可被決之旨ニ而各退散也

という次第で席中十二三人ほどの名前を書付で渡された。吸物(味噌、豆腐、かつお)、盛肴(たこ、数の子、しこと物)、御酒三つ、盃三献、巡盃が済んで各々退散した。
十九日辛丑晴れ 舞御覧のため若御所が御参りになった。
二十日壬寅晴れ 昼食後、五番衆手の汁家父が参集した。経千は不参。修覆帳は同役保守まで兼日指し出し置いた。五月五日の馬は丕顕、保守が充てられるという。
二十八日庚戌曇り 両御所、久我少将殿、ミチ君御方等が御同道で吉田春日社へ御参詣された。経千が御供した。辰の刻に御出門、亥の刻に還御。夕方より雨が降った。

朔日癸丑小雨 今朝、評議所において恒例の六役の籤沙汰があり、人保、生氏、眉喬、顕雑掌、喬保、庚清、物書清算等が充てられた。○当年の葵御祭は例年の如く今日仰せ出され、近衛使は姉小路右中将公遂朝臣という。○今夜、氏重より御田楽奏進につき兼日触れがあり、舞人が参勤したため夕刻に参社した。以下諸事例の通り。○今日、庚清、清算等より招かれて参った。
三日乙卯晴れ 瀬尾弥兵衛方の養子信三郎を先月十三日に引き取ったということで、今日挨拶のため参上し、麻上下を着用した。
六日戊午晴れ 昼食後、神楽講七回目の前調のため社中へ参集した。諸事例の通り。ただし故豊後守勝清が昨年卒去後、勝手向きが難渋につき神楽講拝借銀の件で、旧冬十一月に親族中より願書をもって家領小山郷田地一ヶ所を差し出し、何卒御憐愍の御取り計らいを成し下されるよう歎願があった。右の願書は旧冬掛かり中が巡覧の上、今日沙汰に及び色々相談があったが、何分今日は胡保が不参、的顕が早出等のため先ず未決とし、なお又当勘定までにいずれとも決められるべき旨で各々退散した。
九日辛卯晴れ 去る七日、家父が当番のところ必顕へ相頼み、今日必顕が当番で経千が代勤した。ただし貴船社の雨乞始めにつき朝夕の御料献進で経千が御備えに参勤した。

In this manner, the names of about twelve or thirteen people in attendance were written down and distributed. Soup (miso, tofu, bonito), arranged dishes (octopus, herring roe, pickled vegetables), three types of sake, three ceremonial cups, and communal drinking were completed, after which everyone departed.
19th day, Kanoto-Ushi, clear: The young lord visited to observe the dance performance.
20th day, Mizunoe-Tora, clear: After lunch, the five guards' group and others assembled. Keisen was absent. The repair records were submitted in advance to fellow official Hoshu. For the May 5th horse event, Hiken and Hoshu were assigned.
28th day, Kanoe-Inu, cloudy: Both lords, Lord Kuga Shōshō, Lady Michikimi, and others visited Yoshida Kasuga Shrine together. Keisen accompanied them. They departed at the hour of the Dragon (7-9 AM) and returned at the hour of the Boar (9-11 PM). Rain began falling in the evening.
Second month (29 days)
1st day, Mizunoto-Ushi, light rain: This morning at the council hall, the customary lottery for six positions took place, with Jinpo, Seishi, Bikyō, Kenzasshō, Kyōho, Kōsei, secretary Seisan, and others being assigned. ○ This year's Aoi Festival was announced today as usual, with Anekōji Uchū-no-shō Kōsui-chōjin as the Imperial messenger. ○ Tonight, due to Ujishige's presentation of ceremonial music, advance notice was given, and as the dancers reported for duty, I visited the shrine in the evening. All other matters proceeded as usual. ○ Today I was invited by Kōsei, Seisan, and others.
3rd day, Kinoto-U, clear: Regarding the adoption of Shinzaburō by the Seo Yahyōe family on the 13th of last month, today I made a courtesy visit wearing formal hemp attire.
6th day, Tsuchinoe-Uma, clear: After lunch, assembled at the shrine for preliminary arrangements for the seventh Kagura gathering. All matters as usual. However, after the death last year of the late Bungo-no-kami Katsusei, financial difficulties arose, and regarding the borrowed silver for the Kagura gathering, in the eleventh month of last winter, the relatives submitted a petition offering one plot of family land in Koyama village, earnestly requesting compassionate consideration. After the officials reviewed this petition last winter, it was discussed today with various consultations, but as Koho was absent and Tekken left early today, the matter remains undecided. It was agreed that a decision should be made by the next accounting period, and everyone departed.
9th day, Kanoto-U, clear: On the 7th, when my father was scheduled for duty, he requested Hitsuke to substitute. Today Hitsuke was on duty with Keisen serving as deputy. However, for the rain prayer ceremony beginning at Kifune Shrine, Keisen attended to prepare the morning and evening offerings.
