元日丁丑晴陽春佳節四海静謐珍重也○家父氏神社始年始
令参社給了○御家門卯刻斗両御所へ如佳例於寝殿一統御禮
申上事○若御所御泰賀如例年〇入夜若御所節會外辨
御参陣後御日丁出也
二日戊寅晴若御町院中御泰賀如例也○午刻後京都令回礼也
三日己卯晴氏神社始年始令参社太田社迄了児社へ参帰宅之後
夷大黒神三寶荒神等拝了○午後在所中令回礼事
四日庚辰晴廳飯揚物如例年也〇御家門より御蔵御鏡一重天秤
御鏡□等餝之具品々相揃令頂戴今年初度也但天秤御鏡御例
御勘定席筆頭之者へ被下之先規云々

正月大の月
元日丁丑晴れ 新年の佳き節句、四海静穏で慶賀すべきことである○家父が氏神社への年始参りをされた○御家門では卯の刻頃、例年通り両御所へ寝殿において一統で御礼を申し上げた○若御所での御祝賀も例年通り〇夜に入って若御所の節会、外弁が御参陣の後、御日丁が出御された
二日戊寅晴れ 若御所、院中での御祝賀が例年通りであった○午の刻過ぎに京都への回礼をした
三日己卯晴れ 氏神社への年始参りで太田社まで参詣し、児社へも参拝して帰宅した後、恵比寿・大黒神・三宝荒神等を拝んだ○午後は在所中への回礼をした
四日庚辰晴れ 庁での飯・揚げ物が例年通りであった〇御家門より御蔵の御鏡一重、天秤御鏡等の飾り具一式が揃って頂戴した。今年が初度である。ただし天秤御鏡は御例により御勘定席筆頭の者へ下賜されるのが先例とのことである

1st day, Hinoto-Ushi, clear - The auspicious New Year celebration, the four seas are peaceful and tranquil, truly cause for celebration ○ My father made the New Year's visit to the tutelary shrine ○ At the noble household, around the hour of the Rabbit, as per annual custom, formal greetings were offered to both residences at the main hall ○ New Year congratulations at the Young Lord's residence as usual 〇 In the evening at the Young Lord's seasonal banquet, after the Outer Chamberlain's attendance, the ceremonial official appeared
2nd day, Tsuchinoe-Tora, clear - New Year congratulations at the Young Lord's residence and the retired emperor's court as usual ○ After the hour of the Horse, courtesy visits were made in Kyoto
3rd day, Tsuchinoto-U, clear - Made New Year visits to the tutelary shrine, going as far as Ota Shrine, also visiting the children's shrine before returning home, then paid respects to Ebisu, Daikoku, Sambo Kojin and other deities ○ In the afternoon, made courtesy visits throughout the local area
4th day, Kanoe-Tatsu, clear - The meal and fried foods at the office as usual ○ From the noble household received ceremonial mirrors, one set from the storehouse, tiered ceremonial mirrors and various decorative implements - this being the first time this year. However, according to precedent, the tiered ceremonial mirrors are customarily bestowed upon the head of the accounting office
