5th day, Kanoto-Mi, clear - The village headmen and elders from the noble household's territory came to pay their New Year respects, and ceremonial gifts were bestowed at the accounting office. The practice of both officials offering cups to each person was the same as at Hassaku. Particularly today, the farmers also performed courtesy visits to each residence.
6th day, Mizunoe-Uma, snow - It was announced that [someone] would be included among the participants in the New Year poetry gatherings at the Young Lord's residence and the Retired Emperor's palace.
7th day, Mizunoto-Hitsuji, clear - The White Horse ceremony was performed as usual.

14th day, Kanoe-Tora, clear - Tonight at the first quarter of the Tiger hour, there was an earthquake ○ This year's ceremonial land allocation: of my father's five tan, two tan for congratulatory purposes, one and a half tan additionally as allocation for the two elders, one stone and a half allocated to the deputy, and another half tan from the deputy, with fifty-four mon from the rice fields allocated to the staff. Of Keisen's five tan, two tan allocated for congratulations, three tan allocated to the two elders ○ Regarding the rice allowances from the shelf office, due to this year's economy measures, today three to and eight shō were distributed from the shrine household staff, of which eight shō for chopstick fees were immediately sent to Kensei's residence.
