正月大
元日辛丑晴 初春の佳節、天下太平なり、珍重珍重。○神事は例年の通りなり。
○御家門は御嘉例の通り、寝殿において御内一統年始の御礼を申し上げる。○若御所への御参賀は例年の通りなり。
二日壬寅晴 若御所院中への御参賀は例年の通りなり。○家父年始の社参を恭しく行われ、当年八十歳なり、珍重珍重。○午刻後、京都への回礼を終えた。
三日癸卯晴 朝飯後、経紀・経寛・経啓等を召し連れ、年始の社参を行う。氏神社から太田社まで例年の通りなり。○午後、在所中への回礼を終えた。
四日甲辰晴 朝飯・揚物は例年の通りなり。○御家門より御蔵天秤等の御鏡餅を頂戴すること昨年の通りなり。

1st Day, Kanoto-Ushi, Clear Weather: The auspicious festival of early spring, the realm is at great peace, most precious indeed. ○ The sacred rituals were conducted as in previous years.
○ The lord's family, following the auspicious custom, offered New Year's greetings with all the household in unison at the sleeping quarters. ○ The congratulatory visit to the Young Lord's residence was as in previous years.
2nd Day, Mizunoe-Tora, Clear Weather: The congratulatory visit to the Young Lord's palace was as usual. ○ My father respectfully made his New Year's shrine visit, being eighty years old this year, most precious indeed. ○ After the noon hour, completed courtesy visits in Kyoto.
3rd Day, Mizunoto-U, Clear Weather: After the morning meal, summoning Tsunenori, Tsunehiro, Tsunehiro and others, made the New Year's shrine visits from the tutelary shrine to Ota Shrine as customary. ○ In the afternoon, completed courtesy visits throughout the local area.
4th Day, Kinoe-Tatsu, Clear Weather: Morning meal and fried foods as in previous years. ○ Received ceremonial rice cakes including御蔵天秤 from the lord's family as last year.
5th Day, Kinoto-Mi, Clear Weather: Village officials from the lord's domain came for general greetings, exchange of sake cups with both officials as customary. ○ Kyoto
