菌（きのこ）を喰あてられたるに忍冬（すいかつら）の茎葉（くきは）とも生（なま）にてかみ汁を飲

右之薬法凶年の節辺土のもの雑食毒にあたり又凶年の後必
疫病流行事有其為に簡便方（こゝろやすき）を撰むべき旨依被 仰付諸書

為 御救右之写村々江触知候様被仰渡候間御料所村々之分銘々支配限り

御仁恵を以軽きもの共為 御救御薬法書被下候処年久敷事故
遣失のみのも可有之哉ニ付猶又右写村々江差遣候間厚

現代語訳
一 一切食物の毒にあたって煩う場合には、大粒の黒大豆を水で煎じて何度も用いるとよい。魚にあたった場合には特によい。
一 一切の食物の毒にあたって煩う場合には、赤小豆の黒焼きを粉にして、蛤貝一つ分程度ずつ水で服用すべし。獣肉の毒にあたった場合には特によい。右は千金方に出ている。
きのこを食べてあたった場合には、忍冬の茎葉とも生のまま噛んで汁を飲むとよい。右は夷堅志に出ている。
右の薬法は、凶作の年に辺境の地の者が雑多な食物の毒にあたり、また凶作の後には必ず疫病が流行することがあるため、その対策として簡便な処方を選ぶべき旨をお命じになったことにより、諸書の内から吟味して選び出したものである。

□□享保十八辛丑年、飢饉の後疫病が流行した際、町奉行に板行をお命じになり、御料所の村々に配布された写しである。
右は、その時諸国の村々で疫病が流行し、また軽い身分の者たちが雑食の毒にあたって煩い、難儀している旨が聞こえた際、前書の享保十八丑年に村々に配布された薬法の書付について、年月が久しいことから村々で紛失してしまうこともあり得るため、この度救済のため右の写しを村々に触れ知らせるよう申し渡されたので、御料所の村々の分については、それぞれの支配限り漏れのないよう触れ回るべきである。
辰五月
右は享保・天明の厚いご仁恵により、軽い身分の者たちの救済のため薬法書を配布されたが、年月が久しいことから紛失したものもあると思われるため、なお又右の写しを村々に差し遣わすので、厚いご仁恵が行き届くよう、村役人たちより漏れのないよう読み聞かせるべきものである。

1. For suffering from all food poisoning: decoct large black soybeans in water and use repeatedly. This is especially good for fish poisoning.
2. For suffering from all food poisoning: make powder from charred red beans and take about one clam shell's worth at a time with water. This is especially good for poisoning from animal meat. This appears in "Senkin-hō."
For mushroom poisoning: chew honeysuckle stems and leaves raw and drink the juice. This appears in "Iken-shi."
These medicinal methods were compiled because in years of poor harvest, people in remote areas suffer from poisoning by miscellaneous foods, and epidemics inevitably follow after poor harvests. Following orders to select simple and convenient prescriptions for this purpose, these were carefully examined and selected from various texts.

□□Kyōhō 18, Year of the Metal Ox: After the famine when epidemics spread, the town magistrate was ordered to publish these, and copies were distributed to villages in the shogunal domains.
This concerns the time when epidemics spread in villages throughout the provinces, and common people suffered hardships from poisoning by miscellaneous foods. Regarding the medicinal prescription documents distributed to villages in Kyōhō 18, Year of the Ox, since much time has passed, some villages may have lost them. Therefore, copies are now being circulated to villages for relief purposes as ordered, so administrators of shogunal domain villages should ensure complete circulation within their respective jurisdictions without omission.
5th month of the Year of the Dragon
This concerns the benevolent distribution of medicinal prescriptions for the relief of common people during the Kyōhō and Tenmei eras. Since much time has passed and some may have been lost, these copies are again being sent to villages. Village officials should ensure complete dissemination so that this benevolent grace reaches everyone without omission.
