炊き出し賄いを仰せ付けられ候間、横山数馬、野村忠次郎御勘定頭へ対談の上取り計らい候様、青森において仰せ付けられ候
ただし松前においても同様に仰せ付けられ候事
一同年四月、松前において道中小荷駄才判、寒気の節数多の荷物運送につきては臨時の勤労致し候につき、費用補助として金弐分弐朱を下し置かれ候事
一同月、唐太において御勘定方へ罷り出で相勤め候様仰せ付けられ候事
一同年五月、唐太において熾炭焼き立て取り計らい候様仰せ付けられ候事

英語訳
He was ordered to handle the preparation of meals for the troops. He was instructed at Aomori to consult with Yokoyama Kazuma and Nomura Tadajiro, the heads of accounting, and make arrangements accordingly.
However, the same orders were given for Matsumae as well.
In the fourth month of the same year, at Matsumae, regarding his role as baggage transport supervisor during the journey, due to his extraordinary service in transporting numerous loads during the cold season, he was given 2 bu and 2 shu in gold as expense compensation.
In the same month, he was ordered to report to the accounting office at Karafuto (Sakhalin) and serve there.
In the fifth month of the same year, he was ordered to oversee the production and management of charcoal at Karafuto.
In the intercalary sixth month of the same year, when the troops withdrew from Karafuto, he was ordered to continue his duties as before, including guarding the funds during the journey and serving in the traveling accounting office.
In the twelfth month of the same year, for his service in the defense of Ezo-chi (Hokkaido), having labored for many days in that land handling both maritime and overland travel, he was given a meal at the castle as a reward.
In the third month of the sixth year of the Mi cycle, although he had been appointed to agricultural duties (kuwakata), due to changes in circumstances, he was told that such duties were no longer necessary.
