そも〳〵なみだ山 非常（ひじやう）明王は御救（おすくひ）の小屋山（こやさん）町法大事（てうほうたいじ）の御 作（さく）にして
地震（ぢしん）雷（かみなり）火事（くわじ）親父（おやぢ）を倶足（ぐそく）し奉る本尊なり悪魔（あくま）降伏（かうぶく）は
もちろん世上（せじやう）の人気（しんき）をなほし放蕩（はうとう）惰弱（だぢやく）を止（とゞめ）たまふとの御せいくわん也
地震（ぢしん）と現（げん）じ給ふ時は強欲（がうよく）いんあくの土蔵（どさう）をおとし雷鳴（らいめい）とあら
はるゝときは聾（つんぼう）の耳を貫（つらぬき）魂（たましい）を天蓋（てんがい）にとばして無慈悲（むじひ）の心（しん）
中（ちう）をかはらしむ火事（くわじ）身（しん）を現（げん）じてはつぶれし家（いえ）より火（ひ）をはなち
消（けして）人なければやけほうだい夜（よ）の明（あけ）るにしたがひていつしかきえてあと
かたはなきの涙（なみだ）の箸（はし）もたぬまでになりても命（いのち）さへあれば一法（ひとほう）かき
かへてだますとすれば親仁身（おやぢしん）それかけ出して野宿（のじゆく）の雨（あめ）津浪（つなみ）が
くるとだまされて逃（にげ）たあとから盗（ぬす）みする極悪人（ごくあくにん）はいざし 浪（なみ）心を
直（すぐ）にもつものは誓（ちかひ）て助（たす）けまゐらする非常（ひじやう）明王の御剣（みつるき）は
おやの異見（いけん）の剣（けん）なるべし片手（かたて）にぎる財布尻（さいふじり）しめしを守（まも）る
子孫（しそん）へあたへたるふとの御つげなればつぶれ
しんで後悔（こうくわい）あられませう

かりふくれがはらにおしよせたり此ときなみだ山 毎日（まいにち）大（たい）そう
不そうおうをいのり施（ほどこ）し米（ごめ）のはかりことをもつて又門（またかど）の崩（くづ）れと
なりしもこの尊像（そんざう）の御とくなり此ときのうたに
またかどでこめかみよりぞうたれける

当十月二日夜四つ時より翌日朝まで一同困窮した者なり
地震院
火事
【上段の記事】
そもそも涙山非常明王は、救済の小屋を建てた山町法大寺の御作であって、地震・雷・火事・親父を完全に備えた本尊である。悪魔降伏はもちろんのこと、世間の人心を正し、放蕩・怠惰を止めさせるとの御誓願である。
地震として現れる時は、強欲・陰悪な土蔵を倒し、雷鳴として現れる時は、耳の聞こえない者の耳を貫き、魂を天に飛ばして無慈悲な心中を改心させる。火事の身を現じては、倒れた家より火を放ち、消す人がなければ焼き放題。夜が明けるにしたがって、いつしか消えて跡形もなくなり、涙の箸も持てなくなっても、命さえあれば一方では書き換えて騙そうとする。すると親父の身でそれを見抜いて野宿し、雨や津波が来ると騙されて逃げた後から盗みをする極悪人はさておき、波のように素直な心を持つ者は、誓って助けて差し上げる。非常明王の御剣は、親の意見という剣であろう。片手に握る財布の紐を締め、子孫を守るために与えられた太い御告げなので、潰れて死んで後悔されることでしょう。
ようやく安心して、本尊の由来を詳しく尋ねると、昔、地震王また門焼亡の話があって、商売が定まらず、命令を受けて田原俵だ。火が出たとの救済として二合半の木綿装束でお召しに、仮腹が腹に押し寄せた。この時、涙山では毎日大層不相応を祈り、施し米の計り事をもって、また門の崩れとなったのも、この尊像の御徳である。この時の歌に
また門で米を頭より垂らしたことよ

【Upper Section Article】
The Emergency Bright King of Teardrop Mountain is a creation of Yamachō Hōdaiji Temple, which built relief shelters. This principal deity fully encompasses the four great fears: earthquakes, thunder, fire, and fathers. Not only does it subjugate demons, but its sacred vow is to correct people's hearts and stop debauchery and laziness.
When manifesting as an earthquake, it topples the storehouses of the greedy and wicked. When appearing as thunder, it pierces the ears of the deaf, sends souls flying to heaven, and reforms merciless hearts. When manifesting as fire, it releases flames from collapsed houses, and if there's no one to extinguish them, they burn freely. As night turns to day, the fires eventually disappear without a trace. Even when people are left unable to hold chopsticks from crying, as long as they have life, some try to deceive by rewriting records. Then the father figure sees through this and sleeps outdoors. While extreme villains steal from those who flee after being deceived about coming rain and tsunamis, those with hearts as pure as waves are sworn to be helped. The sword of the Emergency Bright King is like the sword of parental advice. The thick divine message given to protect descendants tells them to grip their purse strings with one hand, so those who collapse and die will surely regret it.
Finally finding peace, when inquiring in detail about the origin of this principal deity, there was once a tale of the Earthquake King and gate conflagrations. When business was unstable and orders were received for Tahara-hyō, as relief for fires that broke out, people came in two-and-a-half portions of cotton garments, and temporary swelling pressed upon their bellies. At this time, Teardrop Mountain prayed daily for great inappropriateness, and through charitable rice distribution, the gate's collapse also became part of this sacred image's virtue. The poem from that time:
At the gate again, rice was poured from above
