越度事
一 諸道具衣類其外何によらす慥成
受人なくして質に取へからす惣而あや
しき物受人なくして売買仕満しき
事
一 旅人飛脚之者其外何ものにても頻りに
煩出しまたハ酒に酔道路に倒臥候者
あらハ其処へ近き者とも出合介抱致し
様子見届可通之若相果候ハヽ庄屋長
百姓立合荷物諸道具衣類等屹度急度
相改番人付置可申来事
附手負たるものかくし置へからす
早々可申来事
一 往還之旅人一宿之儀ハ格別其外
行衛知れさる不審成ものに一夜之
宿もかし申ましき事
一 奉公人に対して不礼仕ろへからす
路次にて行逢ふ時ハ馬よりおり笠を
現代語訳
禁止事項
一、諸道具・衣類その他何であろうと、確実な保証人なしに質に取ってはならない。総じて怪しい物品を保証人なしに売買することは禁止する。
一、旅人・飛脚の者その他何者であっても、ひどく病気になったり、または酒に酔って道路に倒れ伏している者があれば、その場所に近い者たちが出向いて介抱し、様子を見届けて報告すること。もし死亡した場合は、庄屋・長百姓が立ち会って、荷物・諸道具・衣類等をきちんと厳重に調べ、番人を付けて報告すること。
付け加えて、負傷した者を隠してはならない。早急に報告すること。
一、街道の旅人の一泊については格別だが、その他行方の知れない不審な者に一夜の宿も貸してはならない。
一、奉公人に対して無礼をしてはならない。道中で行き会う時は馬から降り、笠を

Prohibited Acts
1. Regarding all tools, clothing, and other items of any kind, they shall not be accepted as collateral without a reliable guarantor. In general, the buying and selling of suspicious items without a guarantor is prohibited.
1. If travelers, couriers, or anyone else becomes seriously ill, or if someone falls down drunk on the road, those living nearby shall go out to care for them and report on their condition after observing it. If the person dies, the village headman and senior farmers shall be present to thoroughly and strictly examine their luggage, various tools, clothing, etc., and assign guards before reporting the matter.
Additionally, injured persons shall not be hidden. Report immediately.
1. While overnight stays for travelers on the highways are acceptable, lodging shall not be provided even for one night to suspicious persons of unknown whereabouts.
1. One shall not be disrespectful toward servants. When meeting them on the road, one shall dismount from one's horse and remove one's hat
