一、元禄十六未年（1703年）
○五節句ならびに月次の御札がある際は、今後（登城の案内を）触れ申すべく候間、登城してご礼を行うべく候。御礼が取り止めになる時分は、触れを出し申すまじく候条、各々出仕なさるべからず候。以上。

Item: Genroku 16th year, the Year of the Sheep (1703)
○ Henceforth, when there are honorific tablets (o-fuda) for the Five Seasonal Festivals (go-sekku) and the monthly observances (tsukiji/tskinami), notice shall be given [to attend the castle], and all are to proceed to the castle to pay their respects. When such ceremonies of paying respects are to be cancelled, no notice will be sent out, and therefore each person should refrain from reporting to duty. The above is hereby communicated.
