〇以手紙申達候今度御簡略被仰出候ニ付年始暑寒御機嫌伺
を始御歓自分
御礼等江戸表之書状指上候儀相止尤奉奉書も不差出筈ニ
候此
以後左様之節ハ
七ッ蔵御番所迄朝四時ゟ八時前迄之内被罷出当番仲ケ間
へ謁被申上筈ニ候
此段兼而可申達旨ニ付如此ニ候以上

追而暑寒御機嫌伺之儀ハ江戸表ゟ御左右以後罷出可被
相伺候以上

一、享保十三年申年
○手紙をもって申し達し候。今度、御簡略が仰せ出され候につき、年始・暑寒の御機嫌伺いをはじめ、御慶事・自分の御礼等、江戸表への書状を差し上げ候儀は相止め、なお奉書も差し出さない筈に候。この以後、左様の節は、七ッ蔵御番所まで、朝四ツ時より八ツ時前までの内に罷り出で、当番仲ヶ間へ謁し申し上げる筈に候。この段、兼ねて申し達すべき旨につき、かくのごとくに候。以上。
六月十三日
追而、暑寒の御機嫌伺いの儀は、江戸表より御左右の後、罷り出でて相伺うべく候。以上。

但し、同十六日より七ッ蔵御番所において御用取り扱い候につき、勘解由より断りの儀、留め有之。

○手紙をもって申し達し候。今度、御簡略の儀につき、年始・暑寒の御機嫌伺いをはじめ、御慶事并びに自分の御礼等、江戸表へ書状を差し出される儀は相止め、向後、左様の砌は七ッ蔵御番所まで罷り出でる筈に相達し候得共、左様にては外に差し支え候儀有之候につき、この以後、日限を相極め置き、仲間罷り出で候様に致すべき旨に候。仍って、向後の儀は別紙書付の通り、御意を得られるべく候。以上。

Item: Kyōhō 13, Year of the Monkey (1728)
○ This is to inform you by letter. Following the recent order for simplification of procedures, the practice of sending letters to Edo regarding New Year's greetings, summer and winter seasonal salutations, congratulatory occasions, and personal formal greetings shall henceforth be discontinued. Furthermore, formal correspondence (hōsho) shall also not be submitted. From this point forward, on such occasions, you are to appear at the Nanatsu-gura guard post between the fourth hour of the morning and before the eighth hour, and present yourself to the duty officer on call. This matter is hereby communicated in advance as directed. The above.

Postscript: Regarding summer and winter seasonal salutations, please appear and pay your respects after receiving word from Edo. The above.

It was communicated that henceforth, on such occasions, you should present yourselves at the Nanatsu-gura guard post. However, as there are other matters that would be inconvenienced by such an arrangement, from this point forward, a fixed schedule shall be established so that members may appear together.
