御門当番・御先筒物頭へ（御意は仰せられなかったが、御見通しのことにより）切手御門の通行当番名元書きを作成して差し出すよう、今後そのように心得るべき旨、宇都宮弥三郎から奈良太郎右衛門へ申し伝えた。
十月十日
一、十一月二十四日、別紙のとおり仰せ出された間、それぞれ申し通すべき旨、渡辺十郎左衛門より申し聞かされたので、それぞれ取り扱いのこと。
一、寛政三亥年（1791年）三月三日、七人番所御門・山里御門・二之丸木戸御門を御通行あそばされた折、右の御門外になったことにより、表方御供が御庭口外の木戸御門外へ廻るよう仰せ付けられた件につき、
この度より以前のとおり御庭内となることになったので、そのように心得てそれぞれに申し通すこと。
右の趣を、■番今川吉兵衛、厚治金平（御見役）、中沢甚兵衛、御小人支配の伴甚五左衛門、右の面々を招き申し渡した。また、組頭・割月番・小頭を呼び出して申し渡した。
手紙をもって申し達する。さて、去る亥年に仰せ付けられた御座所御裏御庭口外木戸御門番について、御先筒組の者は以後取りやめとなる。これにより、奥山里御門番は以前のとおり御先筒の者を仰せ付けられることになった間、明二十五日の朝、御杉形の者と交替して勤めるよう、それぞれに申し付けられたく候。以上。

Regarding the gate guards on duty and the commanders of the advance guard (御先筒物頭): although no direct order from the lord was issued, in light of his oversight, instructions were given that a register of the names of those on duty at the pass-gate (切手御門) should be prepared and submitted. Henceforth, all parties are to conduct themselves accordingly. This was communicated by Utsunomiya Yazaburō to Nara Tarōuemon.
10th day of the 10th month
Item: On the 24th day of the 11th month, as the matter was announced per the attached separate document, Watanabe Jūrozaemon conveyed that each party should be duly notified, and matters were handled accordingly.
Item: On the 3rd day of the 3rd month of Kansei 3 (1791), the Hog Year, when the lord passed through the Seven-Guard Gate (七人番所御門), the Yamazato Gate (山里御門), and the Second Enclosure Wicket Gate (二之丸木戸御門), and as the procession moved outside these gates, the formal escort (表方御供) was directed to proceed outside the wicket gate at the garden entrance (御庭口).
From this time forward, as the arrangement has reverted to as it was before — that is, within the garden grounds — all parties are to take note and be informed accordingly.
The above was communicated and announced to: [■] guard Imagawa Kichibei, Atsuharu Kinpei (御見役 / inspection officer), Nakasawa Jimbei, and Tomo Jingozaemon (overseer of the foot attendants / 御小人支配), and the above-named individuals were summoned and instructed. Additionally, the group leaders (組頭), rotation duty officers (割月番), and sub-leaders (小頭) were called and instructed.
The following is communicated by letter: Regarding the guard duty at the wicket gate outside the rear garden of the lord's quarters (御座所御裏御庭口外木戸御門), as ordered during the aforementioned Year of the Hog, the members of the advance gun unit (御先筒組) are henceforth relieved of this duty. Accordingly, the guard at the Inner Yamazato Gate (奥山里御門) is to be assigned, as before, to members of the advance gun unit. On the morning of the 25th — tomorrow — they are to take over from the Sugikata guard unit (御杉形). Please ensure that each party is so instructed. That is all.
