一、天保十四卯年
渋谷権左衛門より左の通り申し聞かせ候。
〇年始・五節句の登城は、前々の通り。

朔日（ついたち）・十五日・二十八日
右は五つ半時（午前九時）に御触れを待たずして登城すべきこと。相止まる節は御触れがあること。
正月七日・三月朔日・七月十五日
右は出仕に及ばないこと。
一、御目見が済んだ子供・孫で、袖留以上の面々の登城については、勝手次第（各自の都合）によること。

江戸にて
〇松栄院様は、万一非常の節には、かねて伺い済みの通り、御本丸へお立ち退きになる御心得でございます。
但し、時宜によっては、霊岸島の御中屋敷、または本所中之郷の御屋敷へもお立ち退きになることもあろうかと存じます。

Shibuya Gonzaemon communicated the following:
〇 Attendance at castle (tōjō) for the New Year and the Five Seasonal Festivals (gosekku) is to proceed as in previous years.

1st day, 15th day, and 28th day:
For the above dates, one should proceed to the castle by the half-past-fifth-hour (approximately 9:00 a.m.) without waiting for a formal notice (ofure). If attendance is to be cancelled, a formal notice will be issued.
7th day of the 1st month, 1st day of the 3rd month, 15th day of the 7th month:
For the above dates, attendance at court is not required.
Item: Regarding attendance at the castle by children and grandchildren who have completed their formal audience (omemie) and are of the rank of sodome and above — this is left to individual discretion.
13th day of the 6th month
In Edo:
〇 Regarding Lady Shōei-in: in the event of an emergency, it has already been discussed and approved that she should prepare to withdraw to the Main Keep (Hon-maru).
However, depending on the circumstances, it is thought that she may also withdraw to the Middle Residence (nakayashiki) on Reigan-jima, or to the residence at Honjo Nakanogō.
