〇松平右近将監様、今九日より御両敬のお取り扱いになられ候旨、仰せ出され候間、左様に心得、支配それぞれへ申し聞かすべき旨。

右の通り、佐野内膳が申し聞かせ候につき、その段それぞれへ申し達し候。

〇 It has been announced that Lord Matsudaira Ukon-no-shōgen shall, from this 9th day onward, be accorded the honorific treatment known as "ryōkei." Please be informed of this accordingly, and communicate it to each person within your jurisdiction.

The foregoing was communicated by Sano Naizen, and notification was duly sent to each relevant party.

〇 Regarding the inspection of ritual impurity (fuku-e aratame) at the time of worship visits to shrines and temples, a revised regulation has now been issued, as follows:
Tōshōgū Ankoku-den
At the time of worship visits to the above, all persons within the main residence (o-yakata) shall be subject to the fuku-e inspection from the preceding evening.
Item: Members of the escort and advance guard shall also be subject to the fuku-e inspection.
Shinmei-gū and others Daichō-in Anwaga
At the time of shrine visits to the above, ladies-in-waiting and other inner-quarters personnel who appear before His Lordship, as well as those involved in the preparation and handling of food and drink, shall be subject to the fuku-e inspection from the preceding evening.
Item: Members of the escort and advance guard shall also be subject to the fuku-e inspection.

The foregoing was communicated in writing by Shimada Seizaemon, the duty goyōnin (administrator) for this month. It was accordingly conveyed to the o-kachome-tsuke (inspectors of foot soldiers) and posted in the administrative room.
