現代語訳
一、弘化二巳年
〇鑑丸様の御事、先月二十五日、尾張大納言様へ御養子に仰せ出され候。これにより、書状をもって殿様へ御慶びを申し上ぐべき旨。
四月八日
右の通り、水谷壱岐が点取をもって申し聞かせ候につき、御慶びを申し上げ候。
〇昨年の御趣意につき、御坂（御杯）拝領の儀、相止められ候ところ、当年より以前の如く拝領仰せ付けられ候旨、左様に御心得なされるべく候。以上。
九月五日 渋谷権左衛門

〇 Regarding Lord Kagamimaru: on the 25th of last month, it was announced that he had been adopted as heir by the Lord of Owari Dainagon. Accordingly, a letter is to be sent to express congratulations to His Lordship (the lord of the domain).
8th day of the 4th month
The foregoing was communicated by Mizutani Iki via written note (tentori), and congratulations were duly conveyed to His Lordship.
〇 In accordance with last year's directive, the conferral of the honorable sake cup (o-sakazuki) had been suspended; however, from this year onward, it has been ordered that the conferral shall resume as before. Please be informed accordingly. The above.
