下賜された。大広間において諸物頭・御使番の面々並びに御書院番一番・二番、大御番一番から四番まで、御留守居番一番・二番、新番の面々が鳥目を持参して御礼を申し上げ、御流の御盃を頂戴し、御長鮑を取次によって下賜された。その後、与力・諸役人が御礼を受けられ、これが済んでから諸職人が進物を献上して御礼を申し上げ、入れられた。鉄砲之間において御医師並びに御茶道・御絵師が御礼を申し上げ、御流の御盃を頂戴し、御長鮑を下賜された。韃靼之間において奥御小姓・表御小姓が御礼を申し上げ、御流の御盃を頂戴し、御長鮑を取次によって下賜された。その後、桑山宗庵（政甫）が右同断にて御長鮑を下賜された。これが済んでから長囲炉裏之間において一統が御礼を申し上げ、者ども一同が並び居て御礼を申し上げた。

In the Ōhiroma (Great Hall), various monogashira (unit commanders),御使番 (messenger guards), and members of the Goshoin-ban first and second units, Ōban first through fourth units, Orusuiban first and second units, and Shinban brought chōmoku (monetary gifts) and offered congratulations, received sake cups in the formal style, and were granted long abalone through intermediaries. After this, yoriki (assistants) and various officials received congratulations, and when this was completed, various craftsmen presented gifts, offered congratulations, and were admitted. In the Teppō-no-ma (Gun Room), the court physicians, tea ceremony masters, and court painters offered congratulations, received sake cups in the formal style, and were granted long abalone. In the Dattan-no-ma (Tartar Room), the inner and outer pages offered congratulations, received sake cups in the formal style, and were granted long abalone through intermediaries. After this, Kuwayama Sōan (Masasuke) received the same treatment and was granted long abalone. When this was completed, everyone in the Nagai-irori-no-ma (Long Hearth Room) offered congratulations, and all the retainers sat in rows and offered congratulations.
