一、正帽について、参謀科・会計部・鎮台は紺色のラシャ、近衛は緋色のラシャを使用する。
一、正帽の頂上の星について、少尉以上は金線、会計部は銀線を用いる。大将は六個、中将は五個、少将は四個、佐官は三個、尉官は二個を付ける。
ただし、会計部の頂上の星数について、監督長は少将に相当し、以下これに準ずる。
一、正帽の日章について、少尉以上は金色、軍曹以上は真鍮、伍長・兵卒は銅を使用する。

General Rules
1. For military caps: Staff Corps, Accounting Department, and garrison troops use dark blue woolen cloth; Imperial Guard uses scarlet woolen cloth.
1. For stars on the top of military caps: Second Lieutenant and above use gold thread, Accounting Department uses silver thread. Generals wear six stars, Lieutenant Generals wear five stars, Major Generals wear four stars, field officers wear three stars, and company officers wear two stars.
However, regarding the number of stars on top of caps for the Accounting Department: Supervisory Chief corresponds to Major General rank, and others follow accordingly.
1. For the sun emblem on military caps: Second Lieutenant and above use gold, Sergeant and above use brass, Corporals and enlisted men use copper.
