現代語訳
二十四五歳からは中年増で、情愛盛りの本当の味わいを備えており、二十七八歳から三十代、これらは熟練者で上手であり、いずれも衰えることがない。中でも中年増こそ真の美味だと、ある男がかねてより心がけていたところ、その隣家にこの頃しばらく滞在している女がいて、注文通りの容姿で少し気に入ったので、何とかして言い寄ろうと、枇杷葉湯を交わしたかどうかは分からないが、たやすく相談がまとまって、機会を見計らって庭先で、まず良い場所にかがませ、片足を上げさせて挿入しかける。しゃがんだ体勢での交合も熟練者同士、男はもとより盛りの時期でその味わいを試そうという気持ちなので、陰茎の先で女陰の中をとっくりと掻き探ると、中には鶏のとさかに似た非常に柔らかい肉がたくさんあって男根をもてなす気持ちよさ。これは確かに間違いないと心に思うと、女の方も男根をとっくりと噛み締めて、「それにしても気持ちの良い一物だな。第一太くて雁股が高く、筋が太くていぼいぼしている。こんな良い男根の人を夫に持ったらよいだろう」と、互いにたっぷりと感じて、その夜はそのまま別れたが、これが互いの病みつきとなり、ついに先方からもらい受けて、何が最高の女陰、最高の男根であっても、飽きることなく仲睦まじく暮らしたのは、まことに似た者同士の良い夫婦だと言い合った。

From twenty-four or twenty-five years old comes the middle-aged beauty with the true flavor of passionate maturity, and those from twenty-seven or twenty-eight to their thirties are all skilled and expert, none of them declining in appeal. Among these, the middle-aged beauty is truly the most delicious, thought a certain man who had long kept this in mind. There was a woman temporarily staying at the neighboring house who appeared to be just what he was looking for and caught his fancy somewhat, so he tried to approach her. Whether they exchanged loquat leaf tea or not is unclear, but they easily came to an arrangement, and watching for their chance in the garden, he first had her crouch in a good spot, made her lift one leg, and began to penetrate her. Even intercourse in a crouching position, both being experienced, and the man being in his sexual prime and eager to taste her flavor, he thoroughly explored inside her opening with the tip of his member and found inside much soft flesh resembling a rooster's comb that pleasured his member most delightfully. "This is certainly undeniable," he thought to himself, while the woman also gripped his member firmly, saying "What a pleasurable organ this is! First of all it's thick with a high ridge, thick veins and bumps. It would be wonderful to have a man with such a fine member as a husband." They both felt intense pleasure, and though they parted that same night, this became an addiction for both of them. Eventually he received her from her family, and no matter what superior openings or superior members there might be, they lived together harmoniously without growing tired of each other - truly they were well-matched as a good married couple.
