現代語訳
【上段】
○酢漿（サクショウ）は州浜のことである。また酨（スハマ）とも書くべきである。俗に洲浜（スハマ）と書く。
○焼餅（ヤキモチ）は䭆（ヤキモチ）とも書くべきである。串に刺したものを「こがが」という。また鳥の形に作って鶉焼きと名付ける。
○粔籹（キョジョ）はおこし米のことである。もち米を炒って飴で固めたものである。俗におこし米と書く。丸いものを飴おこしといい、角張ったものを岩おこしという。
○煎餅（センベイ）は餅を平たく伸ばして炒り焼きしたものである。また銭餅とも書くべきである。

【Upper Section】
○Vinegar paste (saku-shō) is suhama. It can also be written as 酨 (suhama). Commonly written as sandbar (su-hama).
○Grilled rice cake (yaki-mochi) can also be written as 䭆 (yaki-mochi). Those skewered on sticks are called "kogaga." Also, when made in the shape of birds, they are named quail-yaki.
○Puffed rice candy (kyo-jo) is okoshi-gome (puffed rice). It is made by roasting glutinous rice and hardening it with syrup. Commonly written as okoshi rice. Round ones are called candy okoshi, and angular ones are called rock okoshi.
○Rice crackers (sen-bei) are made by flattening rice cakes and roasting them. Can also be written as coin cakes (sen-bei).
