【本文】
時は寿永の頃であろうか、平家を西海に追い退けた義仲は、武士の道を極めることなく、昼夜酒色に耽り、忠臣を遠ざけて、邪悪な佞臣どもを近づけられるのは、まことに嘆かわしいことであった。
義仲がある夜の夢に、羊となって角を借り、尾を突き折って天に昇ると見られた。

【Main text】
It was around the Juei era (1182-1184). Yoshinaka, who had driven the Heike clan to the western seas, did not pursue the ultimate way of the warrior but instead indulged in drinking and debauchery day and night, keeping loyal retainers at a distance while drawing close to evil flatterers—truly a lamentable state of affairs.
One night, Yoshinaka had a dream in which he became a sheep, borrowed horns, broke off his tail, and ascended to heaven.
