現代語訳
一 四月二十日 運正寺において陽寿院様のご石塔並びにご位牌が出来上がったため、本日ご供養を行った。
一 同月二十一日 明日二十二日のご出発につき、ご案内のため老中への回勤を行った。
一 同月二十二日 江戸をご出発、東海道を通ってご旅行。
一 同月二十六日 端午の御祝儀ご献上の件について、今後は五月二日にご献上するべき旨を大目付駒木根肥後守昌方殿が申し聞かせられた旨、御城坊主仁坂松広から留守居まで申し来た。
ただし重陽のご献上により二日になった。
一 五月二日 端午の御祝儀のため使者をもって例の通り御小袖を献上した。
一 同月五日 ご着城。
一 同日 右と同じくご礼のため使者を杉田弾正正庸のもと江戸表へ派遣し、例の通り奉書紙干鯛御樽を献上した。弾正は本日福井を出立。
一 同月八日 御勝手がご不如意につき、奉行・目付へ存じ寄りの儀があれば申し上げるべき旨を直々に仰せ付けられた。
一 同月九日 御馬の件について、これまでは若年寄本多伊予守忠［ ］殿のお取り扱いであったが、今後は若年寄月番のお取り扱いになる旨、御用番［より通達があった］。

1. On the 20th day of the 4th month: At Unshōji Temple, the stone monument and mortuary tablet for Yōjuin-sama were completed, so a memorial service was held today.
1. On the 21st day of the same month: Regarding tomorrow the 22nd's departure, made courtesy visits to the Rōjū (Senior Councilors) for notification.
1. On the 22nd day of the same month: Departed Edo, traveling via the Tōkaidō route.

On the 26th day of the same month: Regarding the presentation of Boys' Day congratulatory gifts, Ōmetsuke Komakine Higo no Kami Masakata conveyed that henceforth the presentation should be made on the 2nd day of the 5th month. This was communicated from castle monk Nisaka Matsuhiro to the caretaker.
Note: This became the 2nd day due to the Chrysanthemum Festival presentation.

1. On the 9th day of the same month: Regarding horses, whereas previously they were handled by Wakadoshiyori Honda Iyo no Kami Tada[...], henceforth they will be handled by the monthly duty Wakadoshiyori, as announced by the duty officer.
