将軍様への御目見えを仰せ付けられ、退座後再び出席して自分の御礼を申し上げ、太刀・銀・馬代を献上した。その後西丸へ出向き、自分の献上として太刀・銀・馬代を差し上げた。御奏者番稲葉佐渡守正親殿がこれを賜った。
一、五月二十九日 野回りでの御出の際、今後御供を減らすべき旨が仰せ出された。
一、六月四日 今回の御任官について御明細書を提出するよう、大目付駒木根肥後守昌方殿から申し入れがあった。
一、同月五日 御帰国御礼御使者杉田弾正正富が御城へ出向いたところ、ただし四日に御老中から御留守居まで御切紙があった。桧之間において御老中松平伊豆守殿が出座され、御返書の御渡しがあった。その節、弾正へ御巻物に巻いて拝領を仰せ付けられ、そのお礼として御老中・若年寄中を回って勤めた。
一、同月十五日 本多中務大輔忠良殿が御老中に仰せ出されたことへのお祝いとして、国元へ御書を差し出した。
一、同月二十日 暑中につき、将軍様・大納言様の御機嫌伺いのため江戸表へ御使者大御番立岩九太夫尚致を差し出した。今日福井を出立。
一、同月二十一日 暑中につき御書をもって例の通り国産の索麺を献上した。
一、同月二十五日 端午の祝儀御献上につき御内書並びに御奉書を御城において御渡しがあった。御家来への拝領物等は例の通り。

The lord was granted an audience with the Shogun, and after withdrawing and returning again, he expressed his personal gratitude and presented a sword, silver, and horse fees. Afterwards, he went to the Nishinomaru (Western Citadel) and presented his personal offerings of a sword, silver, and horse fees. These were received by Lord Inaba Sado-no-kami Masachika, who served as goyōsha-ban (attendant official).
1. May 29th: When going out for field inspection (nomawari), it was announced that the number of attendants should be reduced going forward.
1. June 4th: Regarding the recent appointment to office, Ōmetsuke Komagine Higo-no-kami Masakata requested that detailed documents be submitted.

June 5th: When Sugita Danjō Masatomi, the messenger for the homecoming gratitude, went to the castle, there had been an official notice (okiri-gami) from the rōjū (senior councilor) to the rusui (caretaker) on the fourth day. At the Hinoki-no-ma (cypress room), Rōjū Matsudaira Izu-no-kami presided and presented a reply letter. On that occasion, Danjō was granted a scroll as a gift, and in gratitude for this, he made rounds to pay respects to the rōjū and wakadoshiyori (junior councilors).
1. June 15th: A letter was sent to the domain to congratulate Lord Honda Nakatsukasa-dayū Tadayoshi on his appointment as rōjū.
1. June 20th: Due to the summer heat, Ōgoban Tateiwa Kyūdayū Naoyuki was dispatched as a messenger to Edo to inquire about the well-being of the Shogun and the Dainagon. He departed from Fukui today.

1. June 25th: Regarding the presentation of gifts for the Boys' Day celebration, official inner letters and formal documents were presented at the castle. Gifts for retainers followed the usual practice.
