現代語訳
飾りがあり、五色の衣を着、項上に五色の花索一囲いを帯び、長く膝下まで垂らして登場する。楽工が歌うと花索を脱いで手を交え、頓足按節すること前の如くで、第二遍の花索舞と為す。
次に小童三人、十余歳ばかりで、珠翠の花を満頭に戴き、宮裙と五色錦の半臂を着、肩に小花籃を各一つ提げて登場し、鼎立する。楽工が歌い、頓按すること前の如くで、第三遍の籃舞と為す。次に幼童四人、短い朱緑五色の宮衣と、長裙間彩で地を拽いて揺拽し登場する。楽工に向かって小坐すると、楽工が各々小竹拍四片を授け、起舞して按節し、手拍がこれに応じて第四遍の拍舞と為す。
次に武士六人あり、黒白相間の綦紋大袖短衣を着、金篐で額を束ね、平頂僧帽式を作し、白杖を挺って交擊し節に応じて第五遍の武舞と為す。又小童二人あり、五色衣を執し金毬を執る。毬上四面に小金鈴を著け、長朱索曼纓で、左右に舞い引いて二青獅を登場させ、旋撲して第六遍の毬舞と為す。席が終わって席を換え、又小童三人が宮粧で登場し、楽工に向かって小坐する。工が小花金桿二枝を授ける。長さ一尺に及ばず、両頭に紅花を著け、交擊して節に応じて第七遍の桿舞と為す。次に小童四人あり、宮衣に易えて登場し、手に花竿長三尺許り各一枝を執って舞い節に応じて第八遍の竿舞と為す。時は已に昏に向かい、帷幕を徹して庭中に烟火数十架を設ける。
又数人をして頭に火笠を戴かせ、假馬に騎らせ、頭尾の烟爆を齊發させて庭中を奔走させ、以て戯楽と為す。宴畢わって城を出ると、火炬長二丈許りの者数千が道を夾む。

ornaments, wearing five-colored robes, with five-colored flower cords wrapped around their necks hanging long down below their knees as they appeared on stage. When the musicians sang, they removed the flower cords, joined hands, stamped their feet and moved to the rhythm as before, forming the second round of the "Flower Cord Dance."
Next, three young boys about ten years old, wearing pearl and jade flowers covering their heads, dressed in court skirts and five-colored brocade half-sleeves, each carrying a small flower basket on their shoulders, appeared on stage and stood in triangular formation. The musicians sang and stamped as before, forming the third round of the "Basket Dance." Next, four young children in short vermillion-green five-colored court robes and long skirts with colorful hems trailing on the ground swayed as they appeared on stage. They sat briefly facing the musicians, then the musicians handed each of them four small bamboo clappers. They rose to dance, keeping rhythm as their hand clappers responded, forming the fourth round of the "Clapper Dance."
Next were six warriors wearing black and white alternating patterned wide-sleeved short robes, with gold bands binding their foreheads in the style of flat-topped monk caps, wielding white staffs and striking them together in rhythm, forming the fifth round of the "Martial Dance." There were also two young boys in five-colored robes holding golden balls. On all four sides of the balls were attached small golden bells with long vermillion tasseled cords. They danced left and right, leading two blue lions onto the stage in spinning leaps, forming the sixth round of the "Ball Dance." When the seating ended and seats were changed, three more young boys in court costume appeared on stage and sat briefly facing the musicians. The musicians handed them two small golden flower sticks each, less than one chi in length, with red flowers attached at both ends. They struck them together in rhythm, forming the seventh round of the "Stick Dance." Next, four young boys changed into court robes and appeared on stage, each holding a flower rod about three chi long, dancing in rhythm to form the eighth round of the "Rod Dance." By this time it was approaching dusk, so they removed the curtains and set up dozens of fireworks stands in the courtyard.
They also had several people wear fire caps and ride mock horses, with smoke and explosions firing simultaneously from head to tail as they galloped around the courtyard for theatrical entertainment. When the banquet ended and they exited the castle, several thousand torch bearers about two zhang in length lined the road.
