《地煞星七十二員の内、地空星》小覇王周通
この一人は洪州の人であるが、青州の桃花山を奪って賊の首領となり、自ら小覇王と名乗った。そしてここで威勢を振るうこと六、七年。ある日、李忠を伴って山寨に招いて、砦の勢力を初めて十倍にした。街も村も構わず、好き勝手に横行する中、桃花村の劉家の娘に無理やり婿入りしようと、多くの子分を引き連れて、盛大にやってきた。祝宴の夜、宴もたけなわの頃、早くも春の情が動いたのか、金糸で飾った帳を左右に掲げて、入ろうとするとこれはどうしたことか。美人が変じて羅刹のような和尚となり、かえって彼に説き伏せられ、色欲を捨てて義を取った。数年後、呼延灼が敗走して麓の村で寒い夜を過ごした時、烏騅という良馬を盗み、大事がここから起こった。青州城の包囲を受けたが、三つの山がともに軍勢を合わせ、さらに水泊の助けを得て、忠義堂に席を連ねた。

This individual was from Hongzhou, but seized Peach Blossom Mountain in Qingzhou and became a bandit leader, styling himself the "Little Overlord." He wielded power there for six or seven years. One day, accompanied by Li Zhong, he invited them to the mountain stronghold and for the first time increased the fortress's strength tenfold. Rampaging freely through towns and villages alike, he attempted to force his way into marriage with the daughter of the Liu family in Peach Blossom Village, bringing many subordinates in a grand procession. On the night of the wedding feast, when the banquet was at its height and his spring desires were stirring, he raised the gold-embroidered curtains on both sides. But when he tried to enter—what was this? The beautiful woman transformed into a monk resembling a rakshasa demon, who instead converted him through preaching, causing him to abandon lust and embrace righteousness. Some years later, when Huyan Zhuo was fleeing in defeat and spent a cold night in a village at the foot of the mountain, Zhou Tong stole his fine horse Wuzhui, and from this great trouble arose. Though he was besieged at Qingzhou City, the three mountains joined their forces together, and with additional help from the water marsh, he took his place in the Hall of Loyalty and Righteousness.
