汾陽（ぶんやう）の軍（いくさ）には魔軍（まぐん）の大将（たいしやう）。神駒子（しんくし）馬霊（ばれい）を擒（とりこ）にす。又（また）江南（かうなん）を
征（せむ）るの功誉（てがら）は。天僧（あまつひじり）の教指（おしへ）を受（うけ）。幫源洞（ほうげんどう）の深峪（ふかだに）に。賊主（ぞくじゆ）方臘（ほうらう）を
捕（とらへ）たり。是（これ）を以（もつ）て説（とく）ときは百八人が武勇（ぶゆう）の功（かう）。此（この）大和尚（だいおしやう）に超（こす）ものなし。
四海（しかい）全（まつた）く平均（へいきん）しつ。軍（いくさ）を収（おさめ）て帰（かへ）る途（みち）。杭州（かうしう）六和寺（ろくわじ）へ一泊（いつはく）せり。
夜半（やはん）に至（いたつ）て江上（かうせう）鳴（なる）を和尚（おしやう）忽（たちまち）驚（おどろひ）て。傍（かたはら）に居（お）る僧（ひじり）に問（とへ）ば。潮信（ちやうしん）
なりと答（こたへ）たり。和尚（おしやう）欣然（きんぜん）として一笑（いつしやう）なし。吾（われ）往生（おうぜう）の時（とき）至（いた）ると。坐臥（ざぐは）
を布（しき）袈裟（けさ）を纏（まと）ひ。端坐（たんざ）合掌（がつしやう）念仏（ねんぶつ）して眠（ねふ）るが如（ごと）く成仏（じやうぶつ）せり。
朝廷（てうてい）おほひに尊信（そんしん）したまひ。御勅使（おんちよくし）の礼（れい）あつて。義列照暨（ぎれつせうき）大（だい）
禅師（ぜんじ）と諡（おくりな）せらる。
現代語訳
汾陽の戦いでは魔軍の大将である神駒子馬霊を捕虜にした。また江南を征討した功績では、天僧の教えを受けて、幫源洞の深い谷で賊の首領方臘を捕らえた。このことから言えば、百八人の武勇の功績で、この大和尚に勝る者はいない。
四海がすべて平定された。軍を収めて帰る途中、杭州の六和寺で一泊した。夜中になって江上で潮の音が鳴るのを和尚は突然驚いて聞き、傍らにいる僧に尋ねると、潮の満ち引きの音だと答えた。和尚は喜んで微笑み、「私の往生の時が来た」と言った。座具を敷き袈裟をまとい、端正に座して合掌念仏し、眠るように成仏した。
朝廷は大いに尊敬し信頼されて、御勅使による儀礼があって、義列照暨大禅師という諡号を賜った。
英語訳
In the battle of Fenyang, he captured the demon army's general Shenkuzi Maling as prisoner. Also, for his meritorious deeds in conquering Jiangnan, he received the teachings of a heavenly monk and captured the bandit leader Fang La in the deep valley of Bangyuan Cave. From this perspective, among the martial achievements of the 108 heroes, none surpassed this great monk.
The four seas were completely pacified. On the journey home after disbanding the army, he stayed one night at Liuhe Temple in Hangzhou. At midnight, when the sound of the tide on the river rang out, the monk was suddenly startled and asked a monk beside him, who answered that it was the sound of the tide. The monk smiled with joy and said, "The time of my rebirth in paradise has come." He spread out his sitting mat, donned his Buddhist robes, sat upright with palms together in prayer, and achieved Buddhahood as peacefully as if falling asleep.
The imperial court held him in great reverence and trust, and with ceremonies conducted by imperial messengers, he was posthumously honored with the title of Great Zen Master Yilie Zhaoqi.
